Irv’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Saw online that this place had new fall flavors. Who wouldn’t want to try that?

I was indecisive about the scoop I wanted and the lady was so patient and helpful while waiting for the decision. The fall flavors were Pumpkin Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, Apple Crisp, and S’mores.

The Pumpkin Cheesecake was so flavorful and really distinctive. It reminded me of the Brown’s ShopRite pie! I settled on the Carrot Cake ice cream. It had chunks of cake bits inside, which was nice and airy and it wasn’t too sweet.

Hands-down, one of the best ice cream places in Philly. This fun little spot at Cherry Street pier is worth a little side detour to get there. So many fun shops in there but please don’t miss Irv’s. The chocolate peanut butter brownie is to die for creamy chocolate at the start lovely peanut butter finish and also had their apple cider sorbet, which feels like you’ve just finished picking apples and are about to carve a pumpkin so Yum! Fantastic homemade ice cream on the pier. This place is a hidden gem. Really great small batch ice cream with rotating flavors and specials. Their spot is at the cherry street pier and it’s a great location for the kids to run around and watch boats and trains while enjoying their ice cream.
