I'm writing this review live from the high top counter facing true West in Shot Tower, watching the yellow leaves fall down from the sycamore tree while sipping on my espresso doble from this baby blue espresso cup with Stevie Ray Vaughn's Little Wing cover in my chorded apple headphones. Okay I don't know if it's actually a sycamore tree but that was the first tree name that came to my head so I let it fly.

For full transparency, this is my 2nd time here today and it's only 12:13pm lol so that should tell you everything you need to know.

The natural light is flooding in here like that cute girl's DMs getting flooded after she deletes the pics with her boyfriend of 2+ years. Get em up fellas!!

There is ample seating in this beautiful open floor plan... hol up let me count..... Okay yeah I counted 32 seats... but don't quote me on that I caught eyes with a few people as I was scanning and it was super awk so I'm not recounting.

They make a MEAN Dirty Chai Latte with oat milk, as that is my budded love interest's go-to drink. It's honestly so gas lol I may be a convert from my espresso/black cold brew... but don't tell her that it would go straight to her head and she already be chirping me enough.

The staff here always greets me with a smile and has good energy. This is an ideal place to get some work done, sit and read, or take a zoom call with your therapist when in Queen Village. Oh yeah, I read hehe haha :)

I could write a whole novel on my newfound love for Queen Village, and I will one day. What a calm, quaint, and character-rich neighborhood this is. I'm obsessed.

It is one the many new upscale coffee houses a social type not just a coffee house it is there because of the Gentrification going on in a large part of whole south part of Philadelphia which also extends about 2 miles North right to Temple University's campus. There is a market now because of the realastate has increased its value from 200% to in some cases 500% more expensive in the last 10 years. This good for some unfair to others on both sides. The ones who already owned the property could sell for much more then the purchased it for or way more if they inherited the property. The massive rebuilding by motivated developers, turning 2 floor old row homes into 4 story high end interior and appliances and fixtures. With roof decks, pilot houses.500 to 700 thousand dollar homes. That is the market people that mostly travel walking and live in homes for the wealthy. So 5 bucks for a cup of coffee and some fancy breadstick for 4 bucks with tip your tossing twenty to get a coffee. Sorry about the off base review just look at it like a quick insiders point if view of the direction of...

Really 3.5 stars. A clean place with pleasant staff and nice looking, but with inferior indoor seating (outside tables are fine, if you can get one). The indoor seating consists of one giant table with hard, small, fixed position stools. Not easy to have a private conversation there, for sure. Also, they seemed to have turned their back on their own city to some degree.

Philly has such great roasters, such as Rival Brothers, Peddler, Greenstreets, Reanimator, La Columbe and many others. I fail to see the point (environmentally, taste-wise, or from the economic view of the city that we live in) of trucking in beans from roasters in distant cities that are no better. So guys, with respect, how about a little civic pride to support local artisans (at least a local, guest roaster "on tap" every day) like some coffee shops do?

By the way, I have no relationship with any folks in your business, by the way. I'm not...

I ordered the Maple Jawn, and it was so delicious!! I like how it’s different from a traditional latte: they use a cold brew concentrate as the espresso, and a lot of milk so it’s still creamy. I came on a Saturday morning and the atmosphere was incredible. People were working, chatting with friends, or sitting outside enjoying the nice weather. I highly recommend this cafe and would love to come back to do some studying!!

Perfect coffee shop in a beautiful neighborhood. The vibe of the whole cafe really transports me to be in my productive state while working. The outside seating is also convenient as there is plenty of seats to choose from. The staff is super friendly! Highly recommend this place if you are looking to do productive work. The middle table is also awesome if you have a bigger group with you.
