Jack's Place — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Stopped by in the late afternoon for an early dinner and ordered an Italian. The order was ready for pickup when I arrived 15 mins later. Service was friendly and without fuss. The storefront is unpretentious and what you would expect of a neighborhood deli. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hoagie was served on a seeded roll (other places charge a premium for such requests). The small hoagie was flavorful and satisfying. Slices of meat blanketed with Romain, red onions, and accented withwhat seems to be an olive feta cheese spread (nice touch). This is the only hoagie I will eat I love them they are always nice on the phone The only thing I wish is that they would deliver on weekends and take Debt the menu says they the stickers on the door say they take so I do think they have to fix that issue with the debt credit card on menu and door because the Mac Machine they have there charges like 2.00dollars so unfortunately where I would have given the 2 dollars for tip I didn't have cause I only got 20.00 sorry girls but always take care of driver when he delivers for nice guy...

Jack's hoagies taste INFINITELY better than Fink's or almost anyone else's. Their deli meat, cheese, spread, and other ingredients are top notch. Their Original Italian is DELICIOUS but some of their other hoagies are also tasty, as are their cheesesteaks, sausage sandwiches, fries, and just about everything else. The joint is very clean and the staff is quick, polite, and efficient. Despite their obvious superiority, Jack's prices are highly competitive.
