very disappointed. we live in the woodhaven area of Philadelphia in Parkwood. I have tried so many places me and my husband love to try different places with our 2 sons. we also are small business owners in the city. after we tried a lot of different places their pizza was still worth it in my eyes even with a long wait time and being a little bit overpriced. we actually have not went back there for couple month and I was disappointed since we live so close to them. and used to go to order once to twice a week for about 6 month. my husband and me went to order food, the usual and the lady that claimed to be the owner was there with young girls I believe working in the front. now before saying how horrible and disrespectful what happened next was let me tell you this. my husband who always plays this game on his phone when we are waiting around for food and due to having a business we are nothing less then completely understanding and respectful of other businesses. I swore I would never give anyone a 1 start review until this situation. it was so embarrassing and humiliating. so my husband been playing this game on his phone for about 9 month when you blow something up in the game and you hit the target and it explodes in the game your phone vibrates and the flash on your phone lights up once and your screen becomes white for 1 second. trust me ive been watching him play when he gets home from work or we are waiting around. I stick more to reading and games for him. so as we are waiting for the food my husband is playing a game hits the target his phone lights up and vibrates. this "owner lady" turns around and with he worst attitude and loud says to my husband "stop taking pictures of my girls" everyone is now looking at my husband who is standing right there waiting for the food we paid for playing a game on his phone. and waiting for a long time like always. now the 14 to 15 year old looking girls that shes talking about are looking at him now too with a look like "just because you said you were not taking picture does not mean you are telling the truth". it was so embarrassing he just politely asked for our money and to cancel the order and we left. please explain to me how is this even a service. I wish there was a way to secretly record what happened to everyone can see this "owner". ive never in my life seen more disrespect. EVER. ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION WINS "THE WORST SERVICE OF 2019' AWARD. thank you for good food but...
Read moreMy friend and I came here for lunch. We arrived at 12:00 and only had an hour to eat. We stood waiting for a waitress for 15 minutes.. One of your waitresses said that they were really really short staffed and I kept thinking what does your short staffed staff have to do with my lunch ? So hire people offer an incentive to work at Joe Santucci’s Pizza Bar & Grill.
Joe I’m sure that you can afford it considering you Have a beautiful Bentley if you can afford a Bentley I’m sure that you could afford to give an incentive for your waitress staff to work there. My waitress finally sat us and she took our order we ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and then order of mozzarella sticks and two Pepsi‘s. Another 15 or so minutes goes by and she brings us our drinks and the mozzarella sticks then our pizza comes out unfortunately it was wrong I don’t know how you can mess up an order for a large pepperoni pizza we got a large plain pizza. My waitress told us that we could nibble on the plane pizza until the pepperoni pizza came out. By this time it was about 10 minutes till we had to leave and so we nibbled and took the large pizza with us.
Our overall experience was poor !! We came here for lunch not a song and dance not a story, we want to delicious pizza and so we came to your establishment unfortunately we have been here two times before and had the same experience poor service which is unacceptable next time will go to McDonald’s at least there I know I’m not going to be told a story !! It’s funny I was at Nifty 50s on Tuesday, They were short staffed but I wasn’t told a story and I didn’t have to wait 15 minutes to be seated nor wait 35 minutes to get my food.
Joe your business is a gold mine take care of your staff take care of your customers and the pot of gold...
