It’s my first time trying out this place and definitely did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly. The Vietnamese coffee has good flavor and it’s not overly sweet which I really enjoyed. The Vietnamese hoagie the bread was definitely different than what I’m used to. It has sesame on the outside of the bread which I love sesame on bread so I can be a little bias. And you know the bread is good when it’s toasted and when you bit into it and it doesn’t fall apart. The pate and Vietnamese mayo is well balanced. It comes with a decent amount of meat and veggies. I highly recommend this place and would definitely be back for more. If you around the area and craving for a banh mi definitely give this place a try.

We took a drive from Jersey City to meet friends and try another Vietnamese foodie spot. Was not disappointed! Had tried the banh mi at another well known Philly place and the banh mi here were 10 stars!! We had the H1 Special with added pork floss, the H7 pork BBQ. Veggies were perfectly pickled and fresh. The pork cold cuts, pate and floss were flavorful and plenty. The BBQ was rich and the lemongrass was flagrant. The D1 Viet iced coffee was not too sweet and had cocoa and coconut notes. The peach lemongrass tea was delightful. All served with a smile by a nice Asian server. We will make the 90+ min drive again to come back for more!

This is a new cute Vietnamese cafe that recently opened on west passyunk ave. I went on two occasions to try several of their banh mis. The first one was the special banh mi, which was delicious and did not skimp on the meat. My girlfriend got the meatball banh mi and raved that it was flavorful and ingredients were fresh. We also got the fish patty banh mi, which is very good and perfect if you love a savory sandwich. We also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee. Please note that it is at default sweet and creamy, so I would ask for less sweet if you aren’t a fan of sweets. The sugarcane lemongrass and ginger drink was refreshing on a sunny day.

New AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE CAFE in South Philly! If you love Vietnamese Coffee, this should be your new favorite spot. She imports the coffee from Vietnam and her coffee recipe is literally the best and super flavourful! Banh mi are delicious (made by my favorite Vietnamese Chef, my aunt! If you know her, you know), seriously. My recommendation is to start with the Banh Mi with the meatballs. Banh Mi Xiu Mai. If you are going to eat it right away, order as it is. If not, ask them to put the meatballs in a container for you. So the banh mi won't be soggy when it's time to eat. My aunt will always ask you though. But let me tell you about the Banh Mi Xiu Mai....the first bite is like heaven on earth. It taste just like how I had it in Vietnam...maybe even better to be honest. Try every single Sugarcane drink on the menu. It is sooooo refreshing! The owner, Jojo is the sweetest and a very talented chef. She is super passionate about sharing her Vietnamese flavors to her community. I am so happy she is now open and I can order her food whenever I want! A new hidden gem in South Philly you...

I see why this place has 5 stars, and it is well deserved! This is a cute mom and pop shop, and they make the sandwiches with love and care. I had to wait a little because there were two people working (at least in the front). Absolutely did not mind at all. I got the summer rolls and red pork bahn mi to go. They are so meticulous with the detail of the food that they packed a small bag of peanuts for the peanut sauce 🙏 I highly recommend people to come here. The veggies were very flavorful and plenty as with the delicious, juicy meat. The summer rolls are the largest for any Vietnamese place (and I eat a shizz ton of it lol) and well priced. I’ll be coming back very soon to get more and possibly a coffee; they have an espresso machine there :) Definitely a place to keep to heart 💙💚

Edit: I came back a second time for Vietnamese iced coffee. Absolutely no regrets. Strong and lightly sweetened, and they asked if I wanted cream since it was slightly darker than how I like it....

I don’t even know where to begin because Jojo Cafe is just EVERYTHING!! 🤩 I came back after my first visit (because, duh, it’s amazing) and OMG—IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!! The vibe here is like cozy perfection—think Instagram-worthy decor meets homey warmth. Every little thing about this place makes my heart flutter!! 💕✨

Now let’s talk FOOD. I legit can’t even. Chef Darian is a straight-up genius in the kitchen. Every bite was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. 💣 The dishes are so creative and delish, it feels like they were made just for me. Not to mention, the coffee is LIFE. ☕️💯

And, can I just say—the staff remembered me from my last visit!!! 😭💖 I felt so special, like a VIP or something. They’re so sweet and make you feel like you’re part of the Jojo family, which is exactly why I’ll be back again and again.

If you haven’t been to Jojo Cafe yet, what are you even doing with your life?! RUN, don’t...
