Hi, I typically don’t write reviews because I’ve worked in the industry and I know how things can be. However I will not recommend giving these ppl (or at least this bartender) your money. I came in for happy hour, sat at the bar. I patiently waited for the bartender to finish his conversation to ask if I needed anything. Tell me why this man didnt even say “hi, give me a second. I’ll be right with you”. Nothing… I sat there for 25 minutes without getting a menu, acknowledgement or anything. I’ve been to many restaurants/bars, and as stated prior worked in the food industry (management). There’s no reason why a customer should have to initiate a greeting or wait 25 min to even get a menu when it’s not even busy. Furthermore you sitting there not even working, but chatting most of the time. To make it worse he stops his conversation, asks someone else (that already had a drink) did they need anything else. Still nothing to me. Mind you it’s only three ppl including myself at the bar . I finally asked the waiter that walked past, is he actually the bartender, she laughs and was very nice but still was clueless to what was going on. I never want to be that person, but I really didn’t appreciate the lack of attentiveness and care for the customer. Oh and when he finally comes over he says “oh well yea I didn’t know what you were doing, u were just sitting there”. Basically using that as an excuse as to why he never attempted to serve me. I got up and walked out. What kind of explanation is that? He needs to be put on trash duty, and that’s about it. I really don’t like to throw this word around, however it was borderline giving racist. He was just rude especially in his explanation. Like oh well kind of thing. I’m not the first person to say this about this place either…

Went here for brunch recently (finally) with a buddy of mine. Ordered Tres Leche French Toast with whipped cream and fresh berries and a side of fried plantains and huevos rancheros. Oh and two carafes of freshly squeezed blood orange mimosas, yes I said carafes! I loved the space, from the decor to the bathrooms (abundant) and the awesome plants…..I enjoyed the entire feel. I walked in fashionably late (thanks Uber👍!) and was greeted by two friendly hostess/servers but I saw my friend and thanked them and headed over. It was a chilly day in the early 50’s but it didn’t feel cold at all yet I didn’t see and heat lamps….I was comfortable in a sweater with no jacket. The server was on the ball, I sat down and she gave me a second to gaze at the menu before greeting me and going over the drink that was now in front of me. She offered to answer any questions and then took our order. The food came out so fast I couldn’t believe it, I’m talking 5mins, which was perfect as we were both hungry. The plantains were ripe and cooked to perfection but I thought it could’ve used a bit more of the dulce de leche. I’m assuming the huevos rancheros were good as they were finished in a minute! The French toast had an excellent flavor but one piece was slightly undercooked but just the very center bite and it could’ve possibly been the whipped cream just soaked into it. The berries were fresh and tasty. The fresh squeezed blood orange mimosas were excellent. I do wish they would serve the champagne in the bottle instead of carafe, the carafe gets warm faster and with such a wide neck it causes the bubbles to exit faster leaving behind not so bubbly bubbly. I’ll definitely be back and would encourage you to book a reservation today! I can’t wait to try their tacos and sandwiches!

My friend and I had a few hours to kill before our concert at Union Transfer so we decided to grab a bite and a drink. The place itself was beautiful but it wasn't functional as a dining establishment. All the plants appear real, which sounds nice at first. But there was slight breeze the day we went which meant often we were picking flowers, leaves, and debris off of our plates, drinks, and table. The food tasted okay. I had to ask for a clean water glass. The Classic Margarita was good, but not enough for the price. Our server Ian was fine as well, but we did spend a lot of time waiting and because of the language barrier, he didn't understand what splitting the check meant which was totally fine. The second-most frustrating part of the experience was that there were flies everywhere. It's unavoidable because the entire restaurant appears to be outside. Each table is outfitted with an appetizer plate so we watched as they flew from table to table landing on each one. I spent the majority of my meal protecting my fish tacos from them. The actual most frustrating part was that I literally got food poisoning less than an hour after finishing my meal. I spent an hour across the street in La Chinesca's bathroom (Union Tranfer couldn't let us in yet so they let me use it for free, actual angels) in pain and nearly missing the opener. If not for the concert, it would have been an all around awful night.

If you Juno, you know!

COVID has us longing for dining indoors at a restaurant. Many establishments have been able to start offering outdoor dining but usually that means on the sidewalk. This place elevates the outdoor game to a whole new level - seriously, its a vibe!

Walking in, there's a whole outdoor space carved onto the property. The feeling is tropical and breezy, casual but upscale - summer mood.

We had made a reservation (as all dining nowadays has to be) and our table was all set up ready for us! The menu is Mexican inspired but packs some great vegetarian (and can be made vegan) entrees. We chose the De La Casa salad to start things off - textures are spot on with crunchy tortilla chips breaking up the herby and spicy avocado dressing perfectly. We moved forward with Verdura tacos and had some Mexican Street corn on the side. Everything was perfect portion wise and the flavors were tingling all my senses.

The wait staff were great on filling up our water glasses and cleared out plates as we finished different portions of the meal.

Thank you Juno for a great time (especially in the time of COVID) - hoping to come back soon before outdoor dining becomes too cold to handle!

COVID REVIEW: The tables are well spaced apart to allow for proper social distancing and all the workers were wearing masks as they moved about. Our greeter let us know that while seated we can have our masks off to enjoy our food but if walking around, would need to have them on to cover our nose and mouth. All the reservations are limited to 90 minutes and they do a small check in questtionairre prior to entry. There's hand sanitizer available at the point of entry and also in...
