La Sarten Food — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Dear El Sarten Express, oh dear, where do I even start? they live up to the name “express” Within the blink of an eye I get handed my food personally. with the delivery guy saying please enjoy your meal. such manners and with the food. Wow just wow the torta I ordered tasted like it came straight from heaven. the chicken and ham dance in joy with the cheese giving you a warm hug. the dance goes on introducing the spicy dj of the jalapeño and the taste of avocado and tomatoes making the perfect couple. After hours we get a taste of their horchata, the sweetness and creaminess bring back memories from Abuelita’s rice pudding wrapping the night up with a sense of satisfaction and joy. Thank You La Sarten Express for satisfying my hunger and making my day

I ate here twice, the first time I had al pastor tacos with horchata. The tacos had decent flavor and the horchata was really good. The second time I got some snacks and chips and guacamole. The guacamole was pretty much inedible, over oxidized chunks of avocado with an equal parts large chunks of onions. The lime juice was separated from the avocados and just seating at the bottom of the container. I had ordered and went to my car across the street and came back telling them the guacamole was bad if they had any fresher. They pretended to not understand me so I just left the guacamole with them at the window. If your absolutely starving and its really late I would suggest some tacos or some beverages. I wouldn’t recommend eating any fresh/cold...

I wanted tacos late at night and found this place on Google. I had low expectations for this food because I thought it was one of those places that you eat just cus nothing else is open and let me tell you... all of the food was delicious! It smelled really good outside and tasted just as good as it smelled!!! The Al Pastor tacos were delicious! The Quesabarria tacos were the best I've ever had!
