i don’t know where to start w. how pleased i was before, during & after my visit. this was my very first facial. after years of battling depression, i have come to understand the impact of how you LOOK impacting how you FEEL. & not just w. clothes- but w. my skin, my weight, my diet, my self-talk, my choice of community etc. so i have battled w. an extra oily t-zone & now flaky skin & unevenness. i’ve dealt with blackheads since i was a teenager. after prayer, i realized that a facial might be a way to help starting to treat my face since i have not had much success w. dermatologists. well, GENYA!! 👏🏽👏🏽 let me just say. she KNOWS HER STUFF!! she was kind. patient. THOROUGH. answered all of my questions. & i could tell was not just trynna get my money- but she REALLY CARES about her clients’ SKIN HEALTH. i came in for the deep cleansing w. the extractions & vitamin c treatment. baby, i walked outta there lookin’ blackhead free, skin shining like i had on foundation, highlighter & a bronzer, honey! w. ZERO makeup on but chapstick. my skin ALREADY looks more even after one treatment- i supposed the blackheads played a huge role in the appearance of my pigmentation. the extraction was NOT fun lol- but not so painful you can’t bear it. genya was quick & took pauses- especially because this was my first extraction. tonight is my 1st night w. the cleanser, serum & PM exfoliant i bought there- since oh yeah- genya asked about all of my facial care products & told me which ones were actually making my skin worse. 👏🏽👏🏽 i was emotional when i left because i never thought i could see my face without blackheads. the treatments i bought were not cheap but the investment is WORTH it. i intend to go back once/month for a deep cleaning/extraction & then move to trying a more intensive peel in a couple months to help get my facial skin get to one shade. thank you,...
Read moreI had such a poor experience here. I got a chemical peel and while my skin looked great after, it was the most uncomfortable and condescending session I've sat through in my life. The aesthetician didn't talk to me about my skin or its needs at all, just jumped straight into dermaplaning me - which is fine if its not your first time with a new aesthetician. I explained my problem areas and she completely ignored them during the treatment. She asked me about my normal skincare routine and then kept referring to normal products as "little potions" in such a rude and taunting way that it almost had me get out of the chair and leave midway through. It was also the most transactional treatment I've ever sat through - there was so little care shown to me and my skin that I just felt like this place was a waste of money and time. There are far cheaper establishments that will give you a better experience and more...
Read moreSo my first ever appointment was at 12:00 on June 1,2019. My skin has been acting crazy and I finally decided too put my skin in the hands of someone other than myself, but due to traffic I got to my facial at 12:30. I called the front desk in advance at 11:30 to let them know I was running late but it went straight to voicemail. Immediately when I got their I felt rushed and not wanted. “Susan Banchek” made me feel like every move I made was wrong. I made a second appointment but I have no idea why because I definitely will not coming back or at least not going back to her. The Purpose of this facial was to relax me and give myself a treat for working on my feet 40+ hours a week. Not to make me feel more awkward than I already feel on a regular basis. The only good thing I got from this experience is confirming that I do need to invest more time and...
