I’m so disappointed - I hosted my fathers party here because I enjoyed the food here in the past. The chef is good but the restaurant basically scams you. I met with a manager to make the menu, we worked things out. It was a higher end menu but he wanted charge extra for a few items and we were able to workout a deal. The party was set for an earlier time bc the crowd doesn’t enjoy eating late and many guests have small kids. We arrived we started with salads l, there were two other parties that had no kids and started the party.. later yet we were all getting food at the same time which is wrong. I spoke to staff to rush the food along… once twice by the third time it was nearly 10:30 and we didn’t have a hot dish yet. The timing of the restaurant is poor don’t come here if you want to eat in any normal period of time. At 11:40 pm they brought out the over charged for lamb chops for 50 guests. There were 20 people left at the party. So what the heck are we supposed to do with all this food????? IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS. Then they told us they would give a discount they removed $100 what a joke, but charged $1200 off the bat for a service fee. WHAT SERVICE???? Horrible service! Never again! They also tried to charge me $35 a child the kids were 2,2.5,4, and 5.5, the kids table had one dry pizza - 1 bowl of tossed nuggets and Fries and a salad. They never told me the price I assumed it would be $15 a child not more. This is absolutely horrible communication, poor dining planning, poor service…. Would not...
Read moreMy family had a party of over 50 people. There were some things that I couldn't be silent about. This is not the first time we were celebrating there. Unfortunately we didn't get the same quality of food and entertainment as we usually get. The service was outstanding though. Every course of the meal was taking a very long time to receive . Let's start with appetizers. There were half a dozen oysters for 8 people. They were not the best quality and seemed to be soaked in vinegar. Salad with duck was totally without flavor. Shrimp rolls in sweet sauce were a little inappropriate to me. Mongolian raw meat was really scary to try because it was raw. Chicken pate was presented as fua gra which was hilarious. Red caviar was spread on small potato hash browns. It was weird. The best thing was fried potatoes with wild mushrooms and garlic. Mmm. Next were hot courses that took a long time to get. Mashed potatoes with paltus fish was ok. Some pieces were overcooked some were ok. Shish kebabs were ok as well but after a 2 hour wait after the fish course, it was a little overdue. I thought there was not enough meat for everyone in our party. It ran out very quickly. Lamb rec was very delicious . In my opinion not enough for everyone. Moreover , entertainment was outdated music and half of songs were played from YouTube. Overall my experience was ok. I wouldn't come...
