BEST MCDONALDS EXPERIENCE Normally I would never review a fast food restaurant, but this location is in a class of its own. The service is more than prompt, the people taking the orders at drive through are meticulous and don't rush you by saying "does that complete your order?" after eve of y item named. Then even though I passed by cashier window to pickup window the young woman showed no frustration whatsoever and even asked me if it was okay to walk away with my card back to the register. I was in awe over how polite and how friendly the team members were. I received my food as soon as the card was charged and it was hot, fresh and even gave me drink carrier (I've had other places try to hand me multiple beverages without a carrier when they see I'm the only person in car). As I was preparing to leave the woman handing the food to me wished me a good evening and thanked me for coming. I have never gone to any McDonalds location as far back as I can remember that treats their customers as real guests to their location. The service is usually blah, no eye contact, barely speak to customer, orders incomplete, take ten plus minutes and usually just warm food. Also if I order an oreo shake like I did last night I would be denied because something is always wrong with ice cream machine. Whomever hires these top notch cream of the crop employees and then trains them the McDonalds way of providing outstanding customer service should be commended as well. Read moreI've waited over three years to make this review. This is my neighborhood location and I almost never have a good experience. There is almost always a service e failure of one kind or another. The only reason I tried this location again, is because the one near my job is closed for renovations. I learned that know one knows how to make a flavored latte according to brand standards at that location, since it always taste different depending on who makes it. Today's issue was that the store was closed at 615 when they are supposed to be open at 600. Now I understand that we are experiencing staffing issues in the restaurant industry that pays poverty wages. However, when these things happen, there needs to be a sign at the drive through, or whoever is in the store (and there were two cars in the lot, do people are there) should still have on the headset for the drive thru. That way, instead of us sitting there until we realize the location is closed, someone can inform us immediately. Whoever is the general manager is a failure, as this location is the most inconsistent location I have visited in my 40 years on this earth. Read moreI might be more enthused to write about McDonald's if I were in a foreign country. UPDATE: Today is 6/7/2022. I took my youngest son to McD's as a treat for how far he was able to walk with me today. When I left I had forgotten my wallet. I didn't realize it until I was about to make a purchase at another store. Thank God that they were across the road from each other. I called McD to see if anyone has found and turned in my wallet and I am so grateful to say an employee had found it with its full contents and held it for me until I got there to pick it up. I had over $100 in cash in that wallet and all my cards and personal info as well. He could have decided to, at the very least, take all the money and blamed it on someone else. I was in tears getting it back because that money was for my son's shoes for his graduation and it was all I had. It gives my heart so much joy to know that decent, kind, caring human beings still exist. I pray that man and his family is blessed beyond measure for this good deed.
