THE "FIRST" TIME I BOUGHT FROM THEIR PLACE OF BUSINESS. *BUT; SADLY... THE "LOVE AFFAIR" HAS ENDED!!! MY FRIENDS AND I CAME BACK THE VERY NEXT WEEKEND... BECAUSE THE FOOD THE PREVIOUS WEEK WAS "SOOOO" DELICIOUS!!! ... NOPE!!! NOPE!!! NOPE!!! ... NO SUCH LUCK!!! ... ALL OF OUR ORDERS WERE "GARBAGE"!!! I ORDERED THE SAME ORDER AS THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND... RIBS, COLLARD GREENS, AND SWEET POTATOES... UGH!!! 🤨 *NO. 1... THE SERVER THAT SERVED MY FRIENDS AND I WAS VERY, VERY BAD TEMPERED... THAT MAY ACCOUNT FOR WHY SHE SERVED US WHAT TASTED LIKE "LAST" WEEKENDS LEFT OVER DISGUSTINGLY HARD, COLD AND TOUGH RIBS... AND GAVE ALL OF US A "LITTLE" SPECK OF "(BOTTOM)" OF THE POT "LEFT OVER" SWEET POTATOES AND COLLARD GREENS... AND ON TOP OF THAT... SHE POURED (BBQ) SAUCE ON OUR SWEET POTATOES AND COLLARD GREENS. *IT WAS A HIDEOUS MEAL!!!😬 *AND; AS IF THAT WERE NOT ENOUGH... SHE (THE SERVER) "ARGUED" WITH MY FRIENDS AND I ABOUT PUTTING OUR ORDERS ON SEPARATE TICKETS... WHICH WE HAD ASKED WHEN WE FIRST PLACED THE ORDER... SHE HAD TO BE TOLD BY ONE OF THE OWNERS TO "CALM DOWN"... AND GO BACK AND WRITE SEPARATE TICKETS. "RIDICULOUS"!!! 🙄 *ANYWAY; NEEDLESS TO SAY IT'S "NO LONGER" ONE OF OUR "FAVORITE" SPOTS. *WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!!! Read moreGood Evening Google Family!!! I called this location today since they had placed a menu on our family's front door. I had decided to visit when I was out walking. Well, today is the day!! I decided to walk in our neighborhood of West Philadelphia. I decided to purchase a Sunday newspaper and buy some brunch from Papp's Pizza. I placed my order while I was walking. I decided on a Chef's Salad, a turkey wrap and a chicken supreme grilled sub. I reached the location after I purchased the paper from 7-11. It wasn't far from the 7-11. I thought it was a bit odd, but no one asked me when I arrived, if they could help me. There were two people working when I arrived. I had to ask someone. I said I had ordered some food over the phone. I told them what I ordered and they looked for my order and it was there, waiting to be picked up by me. My total order came to $32.18. The turkey wrap was $8.95, the chicken supreme sub was $11.95 and the Chef Salad was $8.90. The food tasted ok but I know I will never return there again. I was not ok with the service. Read moreUPDATE!!! Called in to make an order and lady on phone was extremely rude. Not sure what dirty gutter she came from but I refuse to spend my money where people are obnoxious. When I called she instantly answered phone with an attitude, i proceeded to ask about a family special and there was a long pause, as if i was talking to myself. I simply said,"hello?" To be sure there was no disconnection, and the reply was With an nasty attitude "Give me a minute!" You don't talk to customers like that. Due to poor customer service from someone who clearly doesn't want to be there working, I will not be ordering from Papps. Can't trust employees like that with ur food and I can't give hard earned money to an establishment that doesn't care about the quality of service. .
