Stopped in this evening with a group. Being formerly from Philadelphia, I had never heard of this place. Small restaurant, but one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Great service and the owner/manager is absolutely a riot. If he ever decides to give up the restaurant business, he'll definitely make it as a headliner comedian in Vegas. I only have 2 very minor suggestions. The menus that are given to the customers does not reflect the actual prices. For current pricing, you need to look at the menu board behind the order counter. So, I'd suggest getting new menus. Also, I'm not fond of purple skinned onion. The menu board just says onion. I was a bit surprised when I received my pizza with purple skinned onion. I figured it was going to come with white onion. I had to remove the purple skinned onion from the slices I ate. So, if only purple skinned onion is available, that should be mentioned to the customer when ordering. If purple skinned onion and white onion are available, that should be mentioned to the customer when ordering so the type of onion can be selected. Both of the above are just my suggestions. Otherwise, Rex Pizza has absolutely delicious pizza and a wonderful/fun atmosphere, in addition to the owner/manager not charging a cover charge for the comedic...

A Fantastic Experience at Rex! From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that Rex is a step above the rest. The employees are absolutely phenomenal—greeted with a warm welcome and a genuine smile, it’s easy to see why this place stands out. The team goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels like family, offering exceptional customer service that truly elevates the entire dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. Wow! Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious, but their pizza is definitely the star of the show. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect balance of toppings—it’s hard to beat! Whether you're a pizza lover or just looking for a comforting meal, you can’t go wrong here. The atmosphere at Rex is another highlight. It’s friendly, inviting, and relaxed—making it the perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The combination of delicious food and a welcoming environment makes it easy to see why this place is a local favorite. I would highly recommend Rex to anyone looking for great food and even better service. You’ll leave with a full stomach, a smile on your face, and a desire to...

Oh. My. Goodness. This is by far the best, most authentic pizza I've had. The freshness and quality are without a doubt unmatchable. I eat a lot of pizza and usually don't care to leave reviews because most are just very average or basic. If your pizza doesn't taste better than Domino's or Digiorno, what are you doing? But those can't hold a candle to this. The prices in the pics here are not accurate, you're going to pay about $2-3 more. Realistically, though, even that is generous for the amount of food you get. The portions are huge for the price. I highly recommend getting a slice or Stromboli, anything really.

Now, the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired and the service is debatable but never bad or poor. You won't be poorly treated here. If you come to drink and eat pizza, you'll be alright. Very homey feel to it but "bar" might be an overstatement (although there is a seating arrangement for a bar and you can sit there). Buy your beers, eat your pizza, watch the game, the news, or whatever else is on. It's going to be a good time. Overall I'd give it a 5/5, and...

Update 2/22/2025 Been a while since I last stopped in. After I was done I felt like I had been STUCK when I looked closely at my receipt. Counter person to her credit warned prices had changed a LITTLE since they updated the paper menu, but one doesn't expect a 100% increase year over year! Small fry w/ wiz has doubled from price listed to approximately $6.50 all in since last summer. BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE PRICE THEY'RE ASKING UP FRONT! Sadly the goodwill I had for this place has been greatly diminished today! Summer 2024: Great pizza shop that serves many other things too! Nice size tasty slices with any toppings you want for a not too crazy price! Atmosphere was very friendly and inviting! Beer and soft drinks available

This place is LEGIT! We were visiting from Baltimore to do the Philadelphia Bike Ride and we absolutely needed to experience an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. We found this place while biking back to the car. This was one of the best (if not THE best) cheesesteak subs I have ever had in my life. No joke. The service was awesome. The guy at the register who took our order was funny and made us feel really welcome. I think his name was Paul maybe and I think he was the owner. Not sure. He kept taking calls on his cell phone and sitting out in the restaurant area. He spoke with a kind of Philadelphia accent and had a really welcoming disposition. This place was 100% what we were looking for.

Love this place. Yanni (sp?) is loud, boisterous, and proud of his place. Pizza is awesome and the coolers of beer - including the ability to take a 6-pack with you for a discounted price- are packed with tons of choices. Quite literally the only place I go when we stay at the Sheraton. Back again. Updated for the weekend. Place was packed and the owner was still there on July 3rd. Still amazing pizza, but I added wings this time. Hot. Crispy, spicy deliciousness. Staff working their butts off and moving food. Exactly the kind of place I want to do business with. COLD Beer while you wait. Definitely be back.
