Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I cant believe i just left Rota order a water ice and pretzel I grabbed and touch the pretzel wondering why it was hot... I said is this cheese he said sorry ... I said to him you cannot sell that pretzel... i touch it and squeezed with my dirty hands he went over and took it out the bag and proceeded to hang it back on the spinning rack...I honestly felt like once I pulled off he would put it back k...they only 2 remainong.. Im still making my review

Owner please train your staff disgusting wont return, no guessing if they fall on the floor what happens

“Ice, custard, happiness too”. I may be biased because I was taken here countless times as a child, but Rita’s really is the best. Back then it was just ices, custard, milkshakes and gelati but since it’s expanded it’s menu to choices like blendinis (custard, ice and toppings blended) misto shakes (custard and ice base blended) and basically any other combination of ingredients and/or alternation of consistency. I have a couple personal favorites of mine. One is the mango ice and vanilla custard misto which is basically a creamsicle smoothie. The other is the blendini consisting of mint chocolate cream ice, vanilla custard, and Oreo toppings. If you are a fan of mint Oreos like me this is for you. If you are craving a cold novelty, go to Rita’s and you’ll never be...

The service was good but the water ice was lacking and overpriced. The Blue Raspberry was terrible... it tasted like super sweet syrupy medicine. My son wanted it but ended up not liking it. The cotton candy flavor was good but then there was the price 10.50 for 1 regular size gelati and 1 regular ice. Waay too much when I know of a place where I can get a larger portion and better water ice. I used to love Rita's but I just can't do...
