I'm always very pleased with quality and efficiency of service. Their mixes always taste so good since they're made fresh weekly (I believe) at HQ (right here in Philly!) and shipped to all of their stores. Even when they're very busy and seemingly/potentially understaffed, the employees always seem to do their best to be attentive, and are happy to help fix problems should they arise.
Saxby's is the only coffee shop like this I feel the price is worth paying, where as places like Starbucks make you pay for their name.
I always go to Saxby's before any other store if I can, and always share them with people who've never had their stuff before.
Also for those who prefer decaf to regular, Saxbys definitely has the smoothest least-acidic decaf (at least cold brew)...

I know the pandemic changed things, but even during the pandemic they close later (at 6 pm) than now when students are back on campus. The tables in the back are filled with spiderwebs and the low lamps have a ton of dust. Also, one of the bathrooms never works and the other didn’t have toilet paper for two days in a row last week. Lastly, the coffee is not the best quality as it use to be before and I also really miss the seasonal pumpkin blondies,...
Read moreService is fast and friendly, HOWEVER, the employees need to practice sanitary food handling/prep . I was in there on a Monday morning (6/27 ) and I saw a worker chipping and handling ice with his bare hands . He took a big brick of ice out of the bag with his bare hands and was chipping at it with the ice scooper so it could fit in the ice bucket . It was sooooo disgusting . So I mentioned to the cashier that he should have on gloves and then she told him to put some gloves on. I don't want your sweaty dirty hands all over my ice !!!! Definitely a turn off and wont be going back there...
