There is no finer example of Drexel green-space. In fact, it is one of the few examples. Pack a picnic, invite the friends, and head out into the grass. In reality, it's just a large mound of dirt with small trees that provide no shade. Amenities are limited and the paths are too rough for many wheel-based activities. On a nice day, you'll find loads of dogs, some white people playing frisbee, and bros trying to slackline between the incredibly small trees. Students will lay out and study. A great place for Drexel students and other members of the local community alike to spend time at a well kept park and one that is safely patrolled by Drexel police and security. As it is not fenced in, walking a dog there one must be cautious and keep a pair of eyeballs on their little furry buddy. Fortunately for me, my beloved Carmen is mostly into chasing balls and other dogs than worried about straying too far for comfort.
