Shef's Pizza & Deli — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Shefs food overall is pretty good, a little on the pricey side compared to others. Their pizza sauce and mild sauce are great! Chicken finger platters are bomb. Upside down pie great but a little light on the sauce. The only problem I've had with food is that approximately the last year they have started putting an obscene and disgusting amount of cheese on their plain pizza (maybe all, but I only order plain pies) and hardly any sauce. I've had to start ordering light cheese which I didn't have to do before until the past year or so.

Also, they really need to get their hours straight. On here it says closing is at 11 on weekdays but then also also says delivery and takeout close at 9:40. How can it be both? I called at 10:04 and their voicemail says they're closed. Same thing happened last weekend on the weekend, says closing is 12:30 but I call at 11:30 and get the we're closed voicemail. Why do they have 2 separate closing times listed? Can someone fix this please. I will revise my review if it gets fixed.

Per usual the food is delicious, but today I was treated very rudely and was promised a call back from the manager and never received the call! My food arrived cold and mushy from condensation! My food took over an hour to arrive and the delivery driver was very rude. I later was informed he doesn’t speak English but that is no excuse for poor customer service. The young lady that took my initial complaint had a terrible attitude placed me on hold and didn’t even tell me another person would be getting on the line then a manager gets on the phone and the “manager “ that handles complaints wasn’t helpful at all I ordered from this place at least once a week consistently for the last 3 months but I’ll find a new place that appreciates their customers and treats people with respect !!

Update: I ordered earlier today and the food was great. Although They should replace "Hailey" the counter girl she has a smart mouth and bad attitude. Nobody wants to deal with a busy body who doesn't care...

Do not order from this pizzeria I just ordered on Thursday a pizza order of onion rings and 10 boneless buffalo wings upon looking at the wrapper the aluminum foil that was placed in the tray for the boneless wings it was eaten up by mice the pieces of aluminum foil we’re on the wings upon calling the store they wanted to refund me half of my money and when I mentioned to him why refund half the money and I explain to him again because that was how I received my order with aluminum foil that was bitten up by mice the individual indicated to me stop saying that because that’s a lie be careful if you choose to order from this pizzeria and double check your stuff before you leave unfortunately for me I was not able to see this until I looked at the bottom of the aluminum foil so I will not be ordering from this pizzeria again and I will be reporting it to license and inspections because you can’t sit there and tell someone they’re lying when they have the...
