Steak 'Em-Up - South Philly — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Never ordering from here again. I ordered two cheesesteaks with peppers on both, some sides and milkshakes. I get the food, and there's only one sandwich. Now I was really disappointed because I know i made it clear I wanted two, but I noticed on the receipt I was only charged for one, so I chalked it up to poor listening skills.

But then I open the one sandwich we did get, and it has no cheese. So at this point I decided to call. I think I was put on with the owner? He starts off being really combative with me. argues with me that he knows he put cheese on it. Even said 'I know I'm not Jesus but I'm pretty close. And I know there's cheese on there'. Obviously I was stunned. And said 'I'm looking at the sandwich and there's no cheese'. I also told him how I had ordered 2 anyway. So then he tells me he will send me a new sandwich but he wants me to send back the old one because he 'wants to see for himself' that there's no cheese. I was dumbfounded. So not only was he insinuating that I'm a liar, but he also expects me to save the sandwich while I'm waiting for the new sandwich, even though we really wanted two anyway and we were both extremely hungry. I just hung up because I just wanted to eat a damn sandwich not play these stupid games. Unbelievable. It's a shame too cus the sandwich was pretty good even...

I ordered from the place since they opened steak em up I never complained about the food or the service the PS couple of days good night service with whoever answer the phone got my stuff wrong I asked for a cheeseburger club who comes to my house a ham sandwich club that was all messed up done last night my sister orders a cheeseburger a cheese steak comes and when you tell the girl that was answering the phone 10 times cheeseburger and regular french fries just like I said the night before cheeseburger club not a ham sandwich today I call they put me on hold someone answered the phone I said give me a cheeseburger club they got it right this time but I really don't like how people if they have a bad day talk to you if it's a business that's putting out good food or anything like that you don't talk to your customer real rude now I'm really really mad if you're having a bad day don't take it out with the customer and my cheeseburger club today they said you got to wait an hour and a half came in 57 minutes the hamburger wasn't even cooked through it was red inside I threw my platter away waste of money I really didn't want to write this I have to nobody knows...

I'd been meaning to try this place for years because of the funny name lol. I thought I'd check their instagram first to see if they have any specials... entire account is basically about politics and the president? Really weird stuff. I don't really care about politics because I'm busy just trying to live. The owner seems to have some kind of homoerotic crush on the president. Tons of posts and stories about him and the dems being evil or dumb. Not much about pizza. Owner was really excited for bombing Iran which is a weird thing to post on a pizzeria account and makes me think he never served.

Anyways, I overlooked the weird politics stuff because I was hungry and ordered a few pizzas and sandwiches for me and my adult sons. Nothing was good. Tastes like generic Sysco stuff you can get at a high school cafeteria. Honestly, reminded me of the stuff the army fed me during my active duty days and made me think I had Covid again because nothing had any taste. My adults sons will eat anything and even they couldn't finish. My wife say's I'm too negative so I will say their cartoon logo of the mafia guy with a hoagie is...
