Stoli's Steaks — Restaurant in Philadelphia

So yeah I order my cheesesteak on a non seeded with American and fried onions. Deal with it 😝 All they had was cooper so I ordered the wiz. Big mistake. THE CONS: When I saw them put the wiz on it looked more like soup than cheese and they were not generous with it so I couldn't really taste it at all 😕 When I got the steak it was on a seeded roll and when I pointed out to the guy he offered to put it on the non seeded but they would have thrown out the seeded roll and wasting food is a pet peve of mine so I told him not to worry about it. The parking lot is small and location is a nightmare to get out of especially during rush hour. It's cash only. $16 is what I pay for much better cheesesteaks and $7.50 for fries is crazy but I understand inflation but just a little high for me 😕 THE PROS: The steak was seasoned well and the Liscio roll held together great as it always does. The guy up front was nice and I woulda stayed longer and talked but he was getting busy and I didn't wanna distract him. I'd probably go back to try a chicken cheesesteak and give them a redemption chance. If you are a cooper sharp and seeded roll fan you'd probably love this place 😁👍 I GET IT. GET READY TO GRUB & BRING CASH

I was referred to this spot by a friend but I was skeptical when I rolled out. It’s not giving hole in the wall but it’s in a plaza with a few other stores and the outside is definitely not a 5 star kinda spot. Getting into this parking lot is also going to be more difficult than that last Tetris game you lost so don’t say I didn’t warn ya 😭 HOWEVER it’s worth it.

When I walked in both gentlemen greeted me and were super nice letting me know to take my time and to see what I wanted from the menu. I ordered the cheesesteak and the wings. (PS: THEY ARE CASH ONLY!!!) I stood to the side and waited about 10 minutes for my PIPPING HOT food. I drove home and opened up my bag and let me tell you the food not only looked good but it was still hot AND WHEN I TELL YOU THE FOOD WAS SLAMMING. I love wings and these wings were superb. It tasted like the garlic parm was house made not out of a bag etc and the cheesesteak bread was soft and fresh and the cheesesteak was full of meat

I was beyond impressed and I will for sure be back! Try it...

Pretty decent place but can use some adjustments.for a place that is supposed to specialize in cheesesteaks there just ok . They can't get the rolls right they brag about the meat they use but I'm having issues trying to figure out what is so special about it? There are pizza places with a better sandwich. I prefer there chicken sandwiches much more enjoyable. The owner is always there and a very good guy very personable and will do his best to accommodate you and will basically make you whatever u want as long as he has the ingredients. Oh and the burgers they do 2 patties but they shrink up so much to where the bun is twice the size of the burger so you get bites of just bread. I much rather have 1 bigger patty that is the same size as the bun. I guess what I'm saying is overall they're pretty decent place I definitely recommend going in trying their food again the owner is great and he'll make just about anything you ask for there's just some things that I would change to make things better but again definitely...
