So my good good girlfriend put me on to this place. The check rice is very good. Also, the potato greens is good as well. What I don't like is the fact that every time I order the regular potato greens they always gives me all chicken. When it is suppose to come with the cow skin. Every time I go to check my food and tell them my order is wrong. They always act like they have an attitude. The customer service at this establishment is freaking horrible. Not only that they be acting like you did something wrong when you tell them your order is messed up. I spend a whole lot of money in this place and I don't appreciate being treated poorly. Not only that it's extremely cold in there. The owner needs to check the workers because etiquette in this place is a mess. After awhile I don't care how good the food is. I will no longer be spending my hard earned money in this place until they get better with the customer service and stop trying to keep the cow skin for themselves. I actually would appreciate it if I can get 2 to 3 pieces of cow skin in my order and not just 1 piece with 3 pieces of dry fish and 2 and half pieces of chicken for $17. Then when I asked can I just order another potato greens without rice they gone tell me it was $15. So if I'm paying $15 just for the potato greens don't you think I deserve more meat than what your giving me?? I'm just saying. The food is good though. The customer service...
Read moreOMG, don't go there. If there was an option for -0 I will put it on here. I came into town from Minnesota and thought I could get Minnesota classy Liberian foods, this was overly disappointing.
Hygiene is POOR! It's extremely dirty, walls falling apart, tables dirty, I had to clean before we could even sit in there. Food too long time to be prepared. One of the items I wanted to order was out, which was fine. Then, the fish was bad but they still served it. The green pees and mayo was bad and stunk very bad when I opened the lid. Taste of food was awful. Am used to eating great Liberian meals in Minnesota and thought I could get something similar, I was totally disappointed. Even the Fried plantain was raw and hard in the inside. They don't have cups, silverwares or napkins. When I asked, the rude staff told me, their customers don't eat inside, they just buy their foods to-go. I wanted to drink anything from their fridge, I will have to drink directly from the bottles. I had to drive to a dollar store that was a block away to buy items for my family to eat with. Staff was flat affect, rude and cared less. I paid $83 for 3 foods that I was not able to anything except for dry acheke and sliced raw onions.

Read moreI’ve been coming here for years, and I just have to say the quality of food has gone down TREMENDOUSLY! The food is never fresh anymore, it’s like everything tastes like they bought the ingredients past the expiration date, or that the fish is the old one from the bottom of the deep freezer. If you buy attieke the tomato’s and onions are have been soggy and dry like they cut them one day for the entire week. I have defended this place quality to many others in the diaspora, and always give them the benefit of the doubt like “maybe it’s just the batch of fish they bought” or “maybe it tastes like that because I just drank some ginger” … however after being away from Philly for so long, craving some attieke and not wanting to drive to SW for good quality food I thought I could go to sweeties. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I’m truly so disheartened and disappointed. Do better guys please.ESPECIALLY since you all raised the prices the LEAST you can do is make sure the quality...
