Lisa Ly Nails — Local services in Philadelphia

I am taking the time to type this review bc I have NEVER been treated SO UNPROFESSIONALLY! I went to lisa ly nails to get a refill while visiting my family. When I got there the lady who ran the salon strongly convinced me to get dip powder, said it would last up to 5 weeks and it's better for my nails ect.. So, I said okay and literally 2 days later my pointer finger broke! I went back to have it fixed. When I got there, I simply asked if she would fix that nail making it so the other pointer finger matched the length on the other hand. I didn't want one nail to be longer then the other. She RUDELY YELLED at me...saying that I broke my own nail and it wasn't her fault and also yelled and asked me if I wanted to pay money if I didn't she wasn't doing the other nail. Now, I didn't expect her to do the other nail for free but I did expect her to fix my broken nail because she is the one who convinced me that dip was stronger and would last longer but there was no need to raise her voice!! (I know she's a boisterous speaking person but she was shouting/yelling rudely!!) and also she also assumed I wouldn't pay for the extra nail. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! ME, NOR MY 3 DAUGHTERS & THEIR FRIENDS WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LISA...

I would give this place no stars if I could. I usually don't take my time to write reviews but this place was so bad I was compelled. The ladies were kind but it was all around terrible. I went in for an acrylic manicure, pedicure & my eyebrows. For the pedicure the woman used a hard loofah on the top of my foot, it is was extremely painful and now my foot is all scratched up. My manicure is lumpy and she didn't bother to touch up my cuticles or anything. Towards the end a few more customers came in so they had me dry my nails before they did my eyebrows. After going through 2 dry cycles I got up to get my eyebrows done and she tells me to sit down and wait! I understand there were other customers, but I was there first. I have never been asked to wait like that at a salon. Then the owner says she will do my eyebrows and starts multi tasking setting a woman up for a PEDICURE and then coming to do my eyebrows!! NOT SANITARY. She proceeds to do them extremely fast, barely even looking at what she was doing, going back and forth from me to setting up the water for a pedicure. Needless to say they were uneven and I had to go home and do them myself. So upset I paid for any of it! Please...

I have a very busy work schedule and the new owner, Ms. Christina, is always accomodate with my times. I went to her new Nail Salon last night to have my medicure and pedicure done, Ms. Christina, as always, did a wonderful job!!! I love the design on my nails!! And the hand and foot massage services feel so wondeful after a long working day… For a person who has bony hands like me, I never feel confident to show my hands but EVERYTIME I had my nails done by her, I never hesitated to show them to my staff and my customers. I feel beautiful and wonderful and always have a BIG HAPPY smile coming out of the nail salon.

Thank you so much Ms. Christina and also Ms. Uyen who is one the staff there for being so kind, friendly, and make us, the customers feel welcome. We laughed and had a good felaxing time there. Sometimes I got chance to share the Viet food with them too 😍❤️

I highly recommend Lisa Ly Nails to you, all my friends, and family!!
