Every day, we eat food that is just...food. A chocolate chip cookie is like any other chocolate chip cookie. Sometimes we notice when that basic food thing is a little special... did they brown the butter? Add sea salt? That's always nice. And then there is the food that is more rare, that blows your mind away. Folks, I know my tacos and breakfast tacos. I have had many in Austin and across Texas as well as other cities. The breakfast taco that I had today was...creative. Artfully put together. The carne asada taco was great too, but that breakfast taco? Will live in my memory. You must try it.

Excellent food and friendly staff ! This is by far the best Mexican food cart at Upenn. The tacos use the traditional double tortilla and the burritos are big, flavorful, and loaded with meat. 3 tacos or 1 burrito for $11 - a great price for what you get. I have tried the pastor and the carnitas. I prefer the carnitas the pastor is a little on the greasy side. They offer breakfast options but they are the same price as lunch options but with no meat (only egg). Go here for lunch you won't be disappointed ! Usually a line so come early

As someone who grew up in California, I can confidently say that I know a good taco. Don Memo NEVER disappoints, and they are generous with their portions. The al pastor tacos are my go-to; the meat is marinaded to perfection! There is always a wait, but that’s because these guys are serving up some serious quality. I’m happy to patiently wait for the best al pastor tacos in Philly, in my humble opinion. 🤤

Tacos Don Memo serves hands down “the best” Mexican food I’ve had—no question about it! Coming from a family with roots in central Mexico, I can confidently say their tacos instantly transported me back to the streets of Mexico, sitting next to my dad, savoring every bite. It felt like home—comforting, authentic, and absolutely delicious.

Even though I live in Hainesport, NJ, I never hesitate to make the trip for their food. Distance is no obstacle when the reward is this good! I even convinced my husband to come with me to their food truck, and we both ordered the al pastor tacos with their spiciest salsa and an ice-cold bottled Coke. Let me tell you—it was amazing. Flavor-packed, satisfying, and completely worth it. Tacos Don Memo never disappoints!

I highly recommend them to anyone craving genuine, flavorful Mexican cuisine. The food is phenomenal, the team is incredibly friendly, and while prices may be slightly higher than some, the generous portions and quality ingredients make it more than worth it. Support local and treat yourself to something truly special—you...

I'd give this 5 stars had I known the tacos were going to be corn. Not a fan of the corn taco, but, if I was forced to pick a corn taco, this would be it. The fajitas were off the charts. The spicy sauce that came with the fajitas was delicious; I would buy it by the bucket. The guacamole is some of the best I've ever had. Didn't love the tomatillo sauce. Rice and beans were alright. The woman taking orders was ultra pleasant. The wait was long enough to let me know that my food was being made to order but not so long that my kids were screaming in the car. Nice little touch with the individually wrapped...
