Taste King Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I'm usually not so harsh on reviews but this experience was so atrociously bad, I feel it's my civic duty to warn others. The entire ordeal began when I ordered food from this place. Let me preface this by saying, I had a reasonable expectation of receiving my order in a timely manner. Instead, it took an hour for them to cancel the order. An hour! As if the gross mismanagement of time wasn't bad enough, I had to go through the entire ordering process again only for it to take even longer.

Apparently, the restaurant wasn't even open yet, despite their hours listed otherwise. Why would you indicate you're open when you're not? That's just a recipe for frustration and disappointment. The driver couldn't even enter the premises to pick up my order.

And when the food finally arrived, it was a culinary disaster. The fried rice was so hard it could have been used as a weapon, and the egg rolls were an utter mockery of the dish. They were completely devoid of the ingredients I specifically asked for. It seemed as though the chef decided to experiment with the exact opposite of what I wanted.

The pièce de résistance, however, was the chicken. It was so undercooked, it should have been considered a health hazard. I had no choice but to dispose of it, fearing the potential for food poisoning.

This entire episode was nothing short of a waste of time, energy, and money. I cannot emphasize this enough - steer clear of this establishment. This is not the service or quality anyone deserves, and I won't be giving them a second chance to...
