Wonderful spot for coffee, tea, baked goods, etc. Great for a quiet workspace or a convivial meet-up – even a casual lunch date. Food is tasty, with many vegan and gluten-free options. (Like most coffeeshops, it's mostly pastries and small sandwiches – better for snacks or a light lunch than a hearty meal!) I don't drink coffee, but their tea is fine. Baristas are lovely – friendly, helpful, welcoming, and full of character. Wifi is consistent and the speed is quite decent for a small coffeeshop, especially considering how many people are often on it! The space is also incredibly diverse, and the clientele are a true West Philly slice of life – from longtime locals to recent transplants to college...

The Coffee is terrible, I got a cold brew, and it was extremely watered down, my friend got a Chai Latte, and it was watered down too. This place had such a strong negative energy. Especially from the two girls that was working behind the counter I should have gotten their names but they both look like Ellen DeGeneres. When my friend and I walked in the two women behind the counter were so rude and gave us a look as if we should not even be there. While we ordered their attitudes were awful. There is a better coffee shop nearby with great vibes, good coffee and an extremely nice staff called Knockbox Cafe the only reason I did not go here like I normally do is because they were doing...

Watch out with the with the racist person working there with black dark hair. I came in to the coffee and I have no shoes except my sandal, and the coffee has sofa and regular chairs so I set on the sofa and put one foot under me and the other one down. he came to me and see you have to put your shoes on. I said I have no shoes on, he said then you should buy something. I said I'm not sure what your issue as I just set 2 minutes ago and you followed me to try to humiliate me in purpose, and you are just racist and full of problems and he said I'm sorry i'm sorry because he was under the assumption that I don't speak english. Last time at this...

Green Line Cafe was alright. I can't help but want a bit more in terms of service from a place with only a sparse population of folks on laptops on a weekday afternoon. Food was great flavor-wise, though the presentation of a rectangular slab of egg for their bacon, egg, and cheese muffin (which came on sliced bread... so more a sandwich) meant presentation left some to be desired. The iced chai latte was perfect, and their baked goods a treat too.

I go here sometimes when I'm waiting for a friend and it's one of my favourite cafe hangs. The decor is eclectic and cool, they have rice krispie squares, and the brie pear sandwich I had this last time was SO delicious. There was also a jazz band playing that made the vibe perfect. Highly recommend whether working on your laptop or meeting a friend.

This location recently started doing indoor seating again and has become a regular work spot for me. I now know that anytime I am in the city and see a Green Line Cafe sign, I can trust I will get something yummy. I like how open the space is, and it’s usually pretty quiet. The green mint tea is especially delicious.
