Walking into Wawa as usual, head toward freezer to grab a monster drink. After drink I go to kiosk to order smoothies, now watching Wawa employee whipping up my smoothie. I’m so hype, can’t wait to have it. I get strawberry & banana smoothie with vitamin C, B12 and caffeine in a 24oz cup.
Now my smoothie is done blending, patiently waiting for the cup pour. I notice after smoothing was poured into cup it was about 3oz left in blender. I asked employee can I purchase a cup to get the remaining of smoothies. Elderly white female abruptly said, No and poured the remaining of smoothie with my add on in the sink.
I asked for a supervisor, mean lady pointed me to cashier up front. I walked to cashier to talk to her about the situation, it to five (5) excuse me to get her attention. The funny things is that I was the only one in front of the line. I said are you a supervisor? She shutdown again as if she had a, I don’t want to help you button that turns on and off with a thought. She then stated “I’m not a supervisor” in a irritated voice. I said to myself, great another angry white female.
Angry lady now pinching her short calling for supervisor. As I’m waiting nice gentleman directed me saying the supervisor is the one making the food. I said, Thank you! And whispered low, what a nice white guy. As I walk to the food area I notice that the first mean female was next to the super the whole time. Now I’m like wow what a world. Now talking to supervisor, explaining that some of my add ons were dumped in the sink.
I ask her if I could buy a cup so that I can have all my add ons rather it being poured in sink. The add ons been gone at this point. Supervisor Andrea said we don’t do that and walked away. Wow! I called corporate, informed them. They gave me $10 gift card and said we will forward this info to the General Manager in that area.
So I got $10 minus like a couple dollars for the add ons and until they make the correct ration of smoothie to cup. I will bring an extra cup for...
Read moreJust left this place. I've been going to Wawas for decades. I do a lot of Lyft driving late at night now so it's become my go-to store the past few years. Wawa rewards makes it worth it. But this one here had the most ignorant cashier I've ever come across. I always speak to employees & ask how they're doing because I know when it's late I know they're just trying to do their job & clock out. But I don't ever recall getting totally snubbed, not even a fake "hello", not a hint of a reply, she barely wanted to take the time to even acknowledge me standing there at the counter. Her actions let it be known that I was nothing but an inconvenience to her. Nonetheless I said goodnight as I always would, but she ignored that as well. To top it all off, as I left the store, a big muscular dude went to check out after me and I watched her jump all over the opportunity to get back behind the counter for him. There's bad customer service & then there's blatantly ignorant customer service. At the VERY least she needs to be retrained on how to treat ALL customers. Wawa rewards or not, if this was the norm I'd give the rewards back rather than deal with ignorance when I'm spending my money. She was truly a horrible representation of an otherwise good chain. Sad one can...
Read moreI cannot stress enough to please check your food before you leave, especially at night. Some of the employees do not know how to read, or out of spite choose to not make your order as requested, including add-ons that you're paying for.
There has been multiple occasions where I ordered something and said add-ons are not included. Cheese, onions, lettuce, cheese sauce etc. I could on and on.
Like most people who go to Wawa more than 3 to 4x a week aside from coffee, I'm already spending more then I care to admit. Can you not secretly rob me by not providing what I ordered?
I should add that there are some amazing managers and employees who absolutely are attentive and do their job as you would expect in a retail setting. It's just unfortunate the ones who make the food sometimes and represent Wawa's kitchen don't care that people are already paying for overpriced food and rather sneakily give you your food without saying nothing is available as to not interrupt their night.
All and all, I love Wawa, and my previous reviews show that. This is a great location, but needs better employees who can...
