Vito’s is run by the sweetest grandma and her granddaughter, Brianna. It’s a very unassuming place, but their sandwiches are delicious. Generous portions of nothing but quality ingredients for a great price. They’re really accommodating and will order in ingredients that you request if they don’t have it. I told them about Halal meat and that it will really help them get a lot of customers because a lot of Muslims will travel far and wide for a good Halal hoagie. I suggested they get their Halal meat from Prime Halal near University City. They said they will order all Halal meats soon and also make accommodations to prepare Halal sandwiches separately from any ham/pork salami sandwiches. Call and ask about Halal before you go. It’s worth the trip because their sandwiches are amazing. I want to see this sandwich joint succeed. They’re good people who make good sandwiches. Go to Vito’s if you’re in the area, getting your car fixed at the Subaru dealership down the street or something.

I was trying to get the famous Angelo's Cheese Steak but saw how RIDICULOUS the line was so I looked up another option for my Philly craving. Then I found Vito's and went by...you would never know this unsuspecting place had such a good vibe and food. The owners were very hospitable and along with the AMAZING BEEF ITALIAN hoagie (which they are known for) gave me a background story to the business. I was very impressed and this is a place that needs to be shared and experienced. It's a LOCAL spot... definitely not a tourist trap 💯💯👍🏿👍🏿🦅🦅

I just moved to the area and was craving a hoagie. After looking on google and seeing the reviews I HAD to try it. Never have I had such an amazing hoagie in my life! My boyfriend literally just said “the capicola Is stellar” after taking his first bite, while I’m writing this review. If I could give above 5 stars I would! Everyone needs to slide over to this spot !!!

This small business has the best fish hoagies in Philadelphia hands down! They offer swai, salmon and whiting. Swai is my favorite but I have tried all of the fish hoagies and was completely satisfied. The fish is fried perfectly, other ingredients are so fresh and I love the seeded rolls. I have eaten many fish hoagies in Philadelphia and could never really get a good one. I am so glad I found this place! I also tried the chicken salad hoagie which is fantastic! I am going to try more sandwiches on their menu and I know I will not be disappointed. This is a family owned business and they live up to the classic quality of South Philadelphia sandwiches. A must try. You...

I was on my way to North Jersey driving through Philly and right before the stadiums everyone in the car wanted a hoagie.. we googled sandwiches looked for the top ranked shop and found Vito’s which was basically 5 mins from anywhere because it’s right off 76 .. hoping for the best we ordered 3 Italians and a turkey hoagie.. let me tell you it was a quiet ride home because Vito’s is the real deal .. food was amazing, was even happy with the price for once lately.. the people at Vito’s are kind and make great sandwiches.. we will be stopping everytime we drive through! Big portions for regular size...
