This place has gone downhill so insanely fast, I have to go to the Wendy's on Ridge Pike to rely on proper service. I've been there 3 times this week to hear they're out of water bottles, spicy chicken sandwiches, cheese whiz for the fries, half of the sodas in the Coke Freestyle machine, and the flavors in the machine itself. My orders are never 100% correct. I'm either missing something I ordered, a sandwich has cheese that shouldn't, bacon (which is an upcharge) missing, name something that shouldn't be wrong with an order and I've dealt with it. If something I ordered is missing, I get told I never ordered it. If I complain that something is wrong, they'll tell me I never ordered it that way. Want to know why I never "ordered it that way"? Because they're too busy talking over me reading out what I just said or trying to move my order along so they can do nothing. If they aren't talking over me then, they're talking over me, telling me my total instead of letting me finish my order. I've never had these issues so consistently at any other Wendy's, and it's pathetic. I've even been completely ignored at the drive thru speaker and when I pull around, they're staring at me while I drive by because they know damn well they aren't closed but they don''t want to work. The one thing I can give props to this location for is being open so late to disappoint all the stoners with the munchies in the area.
EDIT: Just got home with my food. Ice cold fries, mismatched room temperature sandwiches, and flat soda....
Read moreThe MOST memorable fast restaurant experience I've had. So as we walked in we noticed food to be delivered on a shelf that right in front of us that had been sitting a LONG time. The frostys were melted and they were half liquid. Next the guy at the counter said we had to use the kiosk to order. So we did. We waited at least 20 minutes. They were all totally confused and bumbling all over each other. The most shocking thing was noticeing a teenager in the back shaking the fries basket with an afro at least 7 inches out in every direction. His little baseball cap didn't cover 1/5th of his head. The manager noticed I was taking pictures and told him to put his hairnet on. So ... He started using his bare hands right there adjusting a hair net and it not covering his hair at all and then go right back to the fries. Never even moved away from the food or washed his hands. Another woman who was working there was wiping her hands all over her face and mouth and then preparing frostys. No gloves or handwashing at all. Absolutely gross. We waited so long for our food we almost walked out. Finally my hubby went and grabbed a cup (which I had already paid for) so we could at least have a drink while we waited. There were only 2 people in front of us. Absolute chaos. My nuggets were kind of warm but my hubby's fries were hot. I was so grossed out it was hard to eat. If I posted the picture of the afro boy it is so bad I wouldn't want it to go viral and ruin the kid's life. For real....
Read moreTerrible experience at this location this evening. We pulled up to the drive thru and placed an order around 6:35/6:40pm. Pulled up to the window, payed, and was handed two bags. The woman at the window realized it wasn't the correct order and stopped us. She asked what I purchased and I repeated the order. They asked if we could pull up and wait. This seemed to be fine. Well after at least 10-15 cars passed us, our order was brought out to our car at 7:20pm. Yes, we waited 40 minutes for them to get our order together. And this was after I stepped out twice, and asked the woman working at the drive thru window, "How much longer should it take?" At about both 15 and 30 minutes. Each time it was, "We're getting it ready."
The bags were a mess once we received them and my wife took a quick look. Seemed like everything was there. Once home... NOPE! We were actually missing complete items, were short nuggets in the order, and some of the items weren't made as requested (I asked for no mayo on a sandwich. Big picture, that's minimal and I don't really care, but it's compounding the overall problem here.) So a lost order, a 40 minute wait in the drive thru, and missing items. I'm trying to contact customer service and I really hope Wendy's does something to rectify this. I usually don't feel comfortable posting extremely negative reviews, but the way this was handled...
