Wonder Fishtown — Restaurant in Philadelphia

This is my second time having food picked up from this location so far I’ve only tried lime salt. I get their salad with cilantro cheese and steak and xtra steak everytime. The steak is very much over cooked and chewy but this first time I had them I looked past it since there wasn’t an option for medium rare but the seasoning was very perfect. Today I ordered the same and was told the steak was half the amount I received last time and they asked for more steak to be added since I asked for double steak. When I received my order at my job I was told they were out of cilantro which was fine this time the steak was actually less than what I ordered last time. I’m just asking for consistency with the seasoning and portions because the steak was a bit bland and it looks like more leaves were added instead of meat and last time the salad leaves barely came to the top of the bowl. Will try again because it the perfect meal before the gym and to get me through my shift.

I haven’t been inside yet but have driven past and it looks nice but I’m stuck at work when they are open. So I can’t comment on...

The pros were that it came incredibly fast! Almost too fast. I live pretty close by but the pizza was at my house 17 minutes after I ordered it... almost impossible. The delivery bike guy was great!

I ordered two pizzas, one from Difara and one from Brick pizza (their Detroit' style brand)

I used to get pizzas from DiFara when Dom was still alive and the wait was over two hours. This felt like a frozen airport version of that pizza. It was under and over cooked at the same time and had way too much cheese that congealed in a strange way. The sauce had a nice flavor but the whole thing felt like it was made by a robot and not cooked together like a pizza should be??? I am sure Dom is turning in his grave!

The spicy pepperoni from Brick pizza also had a nice flavor but something about the crust was more Pizza Hut than Detroit brick cheese pizza.

Overall it was worth it for the speed and ease but not for the quality of the cooking. I know this place is basically a ghost kitchen and it felt like that...

I just discovered Wonder. It was a great experience utilizing this app. I have better customer service, delivery, and restaurant options are great. I wish they have more variety of restaurants to use Wonder. Other than that I am content. I will continue to use Wonder than the competitor like Uber Eats. I had poor experiences with deliverers who given me wrong orders it shows they don’t double check the name of the orders and person to deliver to. I had poor experiences where Uber Eats deliverer not even deliver my food depending what they accept in terms of tipping if they dislike the percentage they should accept the order to deliver. I’m happy I found Wonder because I did not have any of these terrible experiences. The perk of it all is free delivery which minimizes the price total compared to Uber Eats and DoorDash.
