Mike's Corner Deli — Restaurant in Phillipsburg

I have only gone here once and it was when I first moved to the area. It was a small place that looked like it wasn’t super clean but I think that was from it being an older business that probably just needed some updating. When I went I got breakfast sandwiches to go. My sandwich was pretty good and everyone else liked theirs as well. The reason I never went back and only gave 3 stars was because the people behind the counter who I assume were the owners or related to them were rude and it wasn’t just to me. The man that took my order just seemed like he was annoyed that I was there. They were being chummy with some older customers that were camped out at the counter but they appeared to be regulars and have probably been going there for many years. My husband and I frequent this place weekly and are never disappointed. One of my faves is Mike's gyro platter yummy! And always fresh. My husband loves his turkey club with coleslaw and we also enjoy breakfast. Service is fast and precise. And I do pretty well on his scratch offs for some reason and it almost always covers breakfast 😋 with a few extra bucks. Prices are very reasonable and Mike manages to it that way. Breakfast sandwiches are literally the best. Pork roll has number one spot but any meat on it is awesome. The club sandwiches are huge and the burgers are seasoned very well, especially for a place that doubles as a laundromat.
