Very lovely, nice, cozy park. Great just for a walk or bringing kids. Good place to take pictures. Nice view of the Northampton Bridge and rail road bridge on the other side. America's first Christmas tree is here. The boxer Larry Holmes statue is also here. When the weather gets warm (I believe April to early November), the city hosts free concerts every Thursday evening. Free parking is arranged by the city for the concert hours. Usually, there are few food vendors as well. Also, almost every weekend, different kinds of festivals are held at this park such as heritage day festival or strawberry festival etc. You can see here in winter time how ice is floating on water. Usually, parking isn't free, though. Have to pay for a metered parking till 8 pm.... As far as I know, normally there are no restrooms, but they are arranged during festivals. Easton, Pennsylvania

This is a wonderful local park, that my family stops at, and enjoys quite often. It has the best views of the free bridge, a cool statue of Larry Holmes throwing a punch, and a little overlook right next to the dam. There is at least one playground, and a bandshell which is not used nearly enough in my opinion. Also, the little overlook above the dam is a local "love bridge", so if you're coming with your better half, bring a padlock! We put ours on, and threw the key in the water. By the way, they just put lights on the free bridge, and this is the best place to see the views of it at night. This park is pretty active at night. It's safe, and no one will bother you. Enjoy one of my local hangs!

Scott Park is known for having over a dozen city events every year. There are sculptures, a massive statue of legendary heavyweight boxer Larry Holmes (who’s from Easton), and STUNNING views of the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers - hence certain restaurants and breweries nearby naming themselves “Two Rivers”. This confluence includes a boat ramp as well as river excursions. I’ve been to other parks in Easton. This is the most beautiful one - large and perfect for nature lovers, but with family-friendly amenities and plenty of restaurants nearby.

This is Easton's Downtown Park where they do most of the events that don't happen in the circle.

Now as a note, the park that is north of the Free Bridge is not part of Scott park but a completely separate one called Riverside park.

Otherwise, this is the park you go to to watch the rivers join, fish, see music events, launch a boat, go to a small festival, watch the trains, and dive into the river in the winter/early spring. It isn't that big and the road is right there but it is a nice place to go to.

Now, like many parks in Easton there are no bathrooms nor water fountains so plan accordingly. Also the playground in riverside park is nicer and has toddler swings. But this a nice...
