AnTea Boba — Restaurant in Phoenix

Def one I would bring my family back to! Love that they had a special for 1.99 basic drink at a certain time. Great fresh flavors. How you envision your special drink to be when going out to a tea house. There are some bad boba places but this one is off the charts delicious. We got brown rice milk tea (taste like mini wheats 🤤), strawberry milk black tea (fresh strawberry and whipped cream cheese topping taste), taro milk tea (different taro flavor daughter wasn’t used to but still enjoyed), mango stormy with grass jelly (the jelly threw me off but son liked it). If you aren't a fan of overwhelming sweetness, this is the shop for you! I've tried five teas from here (most of them as just a sip from my friends' teas)-- the classic milk tea, thai tea, oolong milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and the house milk tea-- so I'll say this place is definietely a lot less sweet than other shops around the valley. The oolong and the jasmine, especially, were actually somewhat bitter, which is nice! It suggests they use actual tea and not just concentrate. Beyond that, I would definitely say the house milk tea (pictured) was my favorite. Prices are a little expensive though. Boba is charged as an add on, so if you order a milk tea with it the price is about $8. Otherwise...

The drinks here are decent, but they tend to overdo it with the ice. When you request light ice, your drink ends up looking like this (I hadn’t even taken a sip yet). I recommend visiting before 2 PM and paying full price for your drink. Otherwise, the place gets incredibly busy, and the service can be underwhelming in my experience. The wait times can be excessive (waited 40-50 mins. for 2 drinks), which makes it less worthwhile to try to save a few bucks.
