I should have read Google Reviews before I took the Doordash Reviews in consideration. I have ordered from Autumn Court before, but all I can say is I wont be anymore. I receive my order through Doordash relatively in the adequate time it took to order. However after receiving my order I noticed I just received fried dried chicken, and no sauce what so ever. It was suppose to be the orange spicy chicken. I immediately called Autumn court, and the girl who answered the phone knew right away that the sauce was left behind. Basically blamed the Doordasher and said "they forgot to grab the sauce" and I was like ok, well you can do one of two things you can send the sauce or make me another order. They just said you need to contact doordash and order again and tell them. Tell them what? In other words I have to fix my own order. I said since I ordered through doordash you should have a record of this and just make another order and you pay to have it deliver to me. I never asked for a refund, but just wanted my ordered made correct. They proceeded to say we cant do anything unless you want to come in and pick up your sauce. So all in all the only to get my order right was to drive back to their location to get my food correct, considering they did not want to make it work for me. Not very friendly, and almost seemed as if since I ordered through Doordash, it was a doordash and me problem. Sadly they wont be getting my order anymore.
UPDATED 4.24.19 Ok I updated from a 1 star to a 3 star. I want to first say that you when you said "we thought we resolved it" the resolved part was I had to drive to come get my order that was given to me incorrectly. The girl on the phone was not so polite, however I felt since you took the time to respond I will accept your apology and review you as neutral. Just as a reminder I never once wanted a refund or a credit, just my order correct and delivered as I paid for. Neither of those happened so it is hard to agree that you did your best. But thank you for...
Read moreTerrible CX. Ordered through Uber Eats about a week ago, and the food was not great (nearly no meat in the sizzling pork, shrimp was over cooked, cand the crab puffs were rubbery). My fiance called to complain, the manager on duty was great, and he even tried to insist that we allow him to remake and deliver the food himself that night. We didn't want that nor free food, but he asked us to give them another chance, and to come back for a complimentary meal soon. He also stated he wrote down my fiance's name. Fast forward about a week, she is back on that side of town, and she called to get an order to go. The manager on duty, different person, treated her like a criminal. He laughed when she recapped the prior situation after saying she was just trying to give them another shot, implied she was lying about the prior experience, and then finally back peddaled after she said "forget it". He stated that we should understand, as people try to do this trick all the time, which... is a lie. If you work in the industry - you know this to be true. He ruined her night, made her feel like a crook, and all she was doing is giving them another chance following the prior encounter we had with a decent manager.
Update: they made another attempt to salvage our business that was quite nice. We still will not return, but it was an honest response to my last escalation with them.
Another update / response to owner: your chance was provided when we attempted to pick up that order yesterday. Yes, you've made an honest third attempt to salvage our business. That said, I have no desire to risk ruining another night considering how upset my fiance was following this experience. It wasn't okay to treat a customer (especially female) like that. It was not just a miscommunication - but, blaming this on miscommunication is a great attempt at undermining how she was actually...
Read moreThe food is awful. I'm constantly disappointed by Arizonan's taste buds. This was another let down. With all the transplants here like myself, I thought I could trust food reviews. I can't. I'm from a city where you can walk into any hole in the wall and get a good plate. Even restataunts that run on generator power. Restaurants operating out of old office suites. Not here in Arizona. I just don't understand it. The Teriyaki chicken looks like mystery meat in suspicious watery brown sauce. The egg fried rice is milly, mushy and tasteless. The egg drop soup was thin and translucent. It looked more like bad miso soup. For those in Arizona that don't know. Egg drop soup is supposed to be a brilliant yellow. Google it. Almost like curry. Very few restaraunts here can pull it off. I don't know why. They're obviously not using the correct base. It's also supposed to be thickened and flavorful. Topped off with scallions. It has ginger, garlic, sesame oil and other ingredients in it. This stuff looks like dishwater that had pieces of eggs in it. Like someone washed out a breakfast pan. I'd say don't go here. But it has a four star rating. So I guess it's good enough for 420+ people. That's sad. If you're a foodie like me,...
