3/16/24: stopped in this Saturday around 4 o'clock. Unfortunately, the parking lot is not fun. It is small and since one entry is right off Indian School, be careful pulling out because someone may be pulling in. Unfortunately, parking is a big deal for us and if it's bad, we won't return. The menu? It was fairly large but beware, they don't have the descriptions/ingredients listed on their menu at the counter -- at least, I did not see anything of the sort. So you either have to take up the order taker's time asking "what's on that?" or check out the menu ahead of time so you know what to expect. I ordered the Western burger but sans onions & onion rings, and he said "so you want a regular burger?" but he was smiling & laughing as he said it so I didn't feel too stupid. LOL! He was very cool about so I don't think I was the first person he had to explain that to, ha ha. The food? It was good. Nothing stupendous, def nothing that would make us want to brave that dinky parking lot again. The garlic fries were a bit on the greasy side, and we both thought the fried zucchini could have been sliced thicker. My sister ordered a shake and I got the Sunkist float. I didn't taste the float but the float was really maybe two small scoops of ice cream in a large 44 oz cup so it was mostly soda. The staff? Everyone we dealt with was super friendly, so kudos there. The decor? I have never been to Chicago and boy were their walls full of Chicago paraphernalia (obviously! :-) ), so much so that I don't think there were any blank spots. It was cool to see all that stuff. There was some big blow up in the corner to the right of the counter but I forgot to get a picture. I want to know what it was! Overall, if you're in the area and want to support a smaller business, def check them out, if not for the food, at least for the ambiance.

Best Burgers in Phoenix HANDS DOWN. I can’t believe it’s been four years since my first review (below) and I think Chicago Hamburger Co has gotten even better. The menu says that Bobs Big @$$ Burger was inspired by his wife telling Bob he needed something ridiculous on the menu. A man who listens to his wife is a wise man. The picture attached is my burger of choice! Bobs Big @$$ Burger has three cheeses, jammy grilled onions, bacon and onion rings with thousand island dressing (comes on the side for a choose your own adventure!). This burger is no joke and such a great price. Everything on the menu is LARGE and such a good price point, especially for the area and much better than the area. They have many other options for food so there’s something for everyone. You can even order on ChowNow and pick up for your office! The staff has always been incredible, friendly, fast, CLEAN and efficient! The building is decked out in Chicago memorabilia as well as historical family moments, with booths and tables to sit at. Chicago Hamburger Company has been around since 1975 and has been a staple in the Phoenix Arcadia area. This is a true mom and pop shop and I had the pleasure of meeting Bob the owner today. You must swing by at least once, but once you do, you’ll be hooked! **** Old review **** Omg that was a dang good burger! I went in for my first time because a friend recommend it to me. All I had was a basic hamburger and fries. I was told after ordering it would take 15 minutes and it honestly came out in five. Can’t wait to go back!

Take a short trip to Chicago, you won't be disappointed. Tables, counters, floors, and bathroom were clean. Concession area was well organized and stocked. Decor is fun, mainly made up of Chicago knickknacks. Restaurant temperature was just right. Dining in clientele was primarily hard labor workers, while to go orders were primarily picked up by retirees. Steady flow of customers coming and going, very popular. Parking lot was small, so you may need to park on the street. Staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick to bring condiments we asked for. All staff members wore uniforms and were clean in appearance. No one wore any overbearing scents. All ordered items had a great presentation. Burger was at a good temperature. Zucchini fries were scalding hot, so they needed a minute to cool. Garlic fries could have been warmer and fries could have been crispier. Burger could have been a little more seasoned, but was overall delicious and its ingredients were fresh. Garlic fries were topped with minced garlic, so they had a huge punch of garlic flavor. Overall, the meal was wonderful and definitely worth the price. On my next visit, I will probably try the coleslaw or the chili cheese fries. Thank you Chicago Hamburger Co., can't wait to visit again!

Chicago Hamburger Co. is a no-nonsense, family-friendly diner in Phoenix, Arizona that serves up Windy City-style sandwiches, dogs, and old-fashioned shakes. The menu is extensive, with something to satisfy everyone's taste buds.

If you're looking for a classic burger, the hamburger slider is a great option. The sliders are made with two half-pound patties of fresh beef, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments. They're served on soft buns and are just the right size for a quick and satisfying meal.

If you're in the mood for something a little more adventurous, the Philly cheesesteak is a great choice. The sandwich is made with thinly sliced beef, grilled onions, and cheese, all piled high on a hoagie roll. It's a hearty and flavorful sandwich that will definitely hit the spot.

And on Saturdays, Chicago Hamburger Co. offers a special bratwurst from Schreiner's Sausage. The bratwurst is grilled to perfection and served on a soft bun with your choice of toppings. It's a great way to enjoy a taste of Chicago on a Saturday afternoon.

No matter what you're in the mood for, you're sure to find something to your liking at Chicago Hamburger Co. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It's a great place to go for a casual meal with...
