Very disappointed in my experience with Gooder Goods. I called well in advance to place a large order ($150 worth of food). I have severe nut allergies and made sure to place my own food order last so I could explain my allergies. The staff member I spoke with sounded very accommodating and assured me multiple times that the salad I ordered would be nut free. When I went to pick up the full order I made sure to double check with the staff to confirm that my food would be nut free - they said it was, and even labeled my meal as "salad - no pecans."

I brought the food to the work event and when I went to take a bite of my salad I realized that there were tons of pecans on top. It's a good thing I didn't eat any of it - my allergies are life-threatening and I could have easily died. It was incredibly frustrating to be the one to place the food order on behalf of 10 people, pick it up and deliver it to the event only to be left without lunch.

Located inside The Madison Improvement Club on 38th Street and Indian School is Gooder Goods. They serve real, whole food, snacks and drinks. They have a wide selection of pre-made selections for take out and ample seating if you choose to dine in. I chose the avo-toast and added two eggs sunny side up. The dish was incredible. Served atop a thick slice of toasted sourdough was a ton of avocado, red onion, jalapeño, mandarin oranges, grape tomato and pomegranate seeds. For trying my first meal here, this was absolutely amazing! I unfortunately didn't catch the girl who helped me, but she was so helpful and friendly. Recommended the Chai tea, that was amazing! Then she Recommended having the Fo'rizo burrito, she was going to have one as well. I did take off the avocado, but the rest of it was incredible!
