Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Phoenix

Wow... What a diff 2 yrs can make..... apparently two years ago I gave them five stars for fresh hot food. Today I actually took the time to not just respond to a Google request for review but search them to give them a one-star rating! The last two times my husband and I have been here the food has been awful, it seems like it must have been sitting in the warmers all day long, the chicken sandwiches that are normally amazing were dry and chewy and inedible. The last time we were there I got those hand breaded chicken tenders. I got a four piece and two of them were like under 2 in long mostly reading and all of them awful and again and edible. We were insistent that we were going to take the food back last time and we didn't have time. We made the mistake of forgetting and offering to take my son for and if milkshakes last night, spend another $50 on food oh, absolutely ridiculous price to start with, my husband's Burger was awful and chewy and seemed it must have been on the warmer all day again, same thing with the chicken sandwiches oh, their fries so how we're even awful. My son couldn't even choke the food down and I have been calling all day trying to let them know I want to take this food back well it's it's on my floorboard and sinks at my car. What happened Carl's jr. You guys used to be amazing. If only you could ride the quality of your milkshakes for all the items on your menu. Every other time I've gone before (night) the service has been great. I went for lunch after working a morning shift and ordered the beyond meat burger. I drove away and saw how thin the burger was (beyond meat patties are thicker than normal) and that there was no "beyond meat" sticker on the burger as they normally put. I drove back and told them "I think I got a real meat burger and I ordered beyond meat" when I pulled up to the window they tried to tell me it was beyond meat. I wanted to be sure since I didn't believe it was so I just asked them if they could remake the burger for me. The manager instantly gives me a problem and says "well its just gonna look exactly the same since this is beyond meat" in a snotty tone. She refused to give me corporates number and made me look it up (I did and left a message). I gave them back the rest of the meal and simply asked for a refund when the manager said "so do you want the burger or not". Do not go to this place if you are vegetarian or vegan.
