Del Taco — Restaurant in Phoenix

This del taco will cheat you time and time again in the drive thru. They can't get an order right to save their lives Last night I got home and the two carnitas burritos I paid for were missing I was without my vehicle to return so I called them but after trying 5 times through out the night where it would ring forever never being answered in gave up. So I go over today and explain and they ask me for a receipt. Well I suspect the woman handed me the huge bag without communicating there was another that had the burritos AND THE RECEIPT! Even if I had a receipt how could you prove I wasn't lying about items on the receipt. Either you believe a customer or you don't and had my teenage daughter to witness AND the attempted unanswered phone calls were evident from my phone. The girl after asking for the receipt THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME said she couldn't help there was no manager on site. She asked me what my orderorder consisted of I told her exactly but nope. "maybe you want to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager" WHAT? OK how would I know when he was there ? YOU DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE HOW MANY DAMN TRIPS AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE FOR THESE BURRITOS? I asked if the lady who helped us was working and I described her. Two staff said nobody works here that looks like that. OK so now I'm a liar?? I'm a single Mom of a teenage girl a business has never accused me of being a liar and I am not, nor do I look the part. I left angered and humiliated. We USED TO EAT AT THIS DEL TACO 4 to 5 times a week. They made tons of money from me BUT NO MORE. IT'S THEIR LOSS. I'D GIVE THEM NO STARS IF I COULD. If you go thru this drive thru, BEFORE LEAVING I SUGGEST YOU GO OVER YOUR ORDER PIECE BY PIECE, OPENING CONTAINERS AND CHECKING WHAT'S IN YOUR BURRITOS OR CONTAINERS. LAST MONTH THEY GAVE MY DAUGHTER CARNITAS FRIES IN STEAD OF CHILI FRIES. THERE SCREW UPS ARE NEVER ENDING! BETTER YET, STAY AWAY ALTOGETHER LIKE I WILL...

The fries are often actually hot and crispy. Yes let that sink in, you can get hot fries here. I mean it's possible, it doesn't always happen, but the fact that it can happen must mean a lot to a french fry enthusiast right? . It's ironic that a taco place has better fries than all the other burger places in the area. The drinks don't taste good, perhaps too watered down, or maybe it's the plastic cups are not actually food safe, probably a combination of the two. . I stopped ordering the burgers here because I'd always have some disgusting angry handprint in the bun. Then there was this guy working there that wouldn't cut his fingernails, bleh and he's serving he food at the drive-thru.

The tacos are 1000 times better than taco bell which gives you 1 strand of cheese in your taco these days. The burritos are better too, though sometimes I get them with a dried tortilla which I don't like at all. . In a pretty tough economic and business environment del taco at least tries to do a good job. I would rank them number 4 in the ahwatukee area as far as fast food quality consistency goes. Literally the worst location ever. The worst first experience was one of the dude in the window asked me to hook him up with some weed because he smelled what I got from the dispensary. He told me to come back later for some free food and I just never showed up. Shortly after they have the restaurant all taped up. Next time I went yesterday after the longest time and spent like 30 bucks. I asked for three free Waters at the end because we've got really hot waiting in line. The girl in the window told me very unprofessionally that if I wanted free water I had to ask first next time, like seriously how Petty it's your job to get me my free water stupid girl. Today I went and they were out of french fries so I just backed out of the drive-thru never plan on going back LOL. It's pretty bad if I prefer to go to the Del Taco on the west side of town versus where I live in Ahwatukee because you guys have no idea what you're doing!!!
