I ordered a chimichanga online and not seeing any chimichanga combo option, I assumed that my selection came with rice and beans because rice and beans was in the picture and there was no other combo option to select from. The total of my order was $10.70. When I arrived to pick up my order at curbside pick up I asked if I could do the combo with rice and beans because I thought that’s what I ordered and the person who took my credit card, went inside and charged me $7.95 for rice and beans. Coming to find that a combo platter is $11. I told her I did not want to be charged $7.95 on top of $10.70 when a combo is around $11. I asked for a refund and offered to give the rice and beans back saying I didn’t want to pay that amount for it, and the employee said that I could keep the rice and beans just out of courtesy because they were going to throw it out anyway. Then the manager comes out, she calls her self Angelina, and she says to me in a very rude tone holding my credit card, “ I’m sorry what is the problem?” And I explain to her that I was getting overcharged for what I wanted originally which was a combo meal and she rudely said that they gave me a larger portion of the rice and beans. I said I didn’t want a larger portion I just wanted the combo platter, and she said that she could not make that adjustment and then I said well I would like a refund please and then she took my rice and beans back and it took her 10 minutes after arguing with her to refund my credit card. She was the rudest person I have ever experienced in the customer service industry and she calls herself the manager. I cannot even tell you how disrespected I felt after talking with her. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I will never be coming to Carolinas again, I will never recommend a friend or family member to...
Read moreWorst service I have ever experienced in my life. My wife orders and pays for the food online at 9:42 Am for "Curbside Pickup" since I would be picking up with a sick baby in my car that I did not want to bring into the restaurant. I arrive at 10:05, park in "Curbside Pickup" spot #1 and call the pickup number. I push option "7" for pickup service which isnt working and only transfers you to "General mailbox". I then call the restaurant and select "place a pick up order". I am told "please hold" and am on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up and calling again. This time I interrupt and say " I cant hold and that I have a sick, screaming baby in the car and that I am outside in pickup lane 1 and am told "my order will be right out." After 10 more minutes my order is still not out so I call back and am now told "my order is not ready yet but will be right out in a few minutes". It is now around 10:35 and I call back and tell them to please bring my order out. I am told "it is coming out right now". At 10:45 AM after sitting in the car with a crying baby for 40 minutes and seeing others arrive at the restaurant, order, eat their food and then leave, I ask them "if they are just pranking me or if they ever intend on bringing my food out?" At 10:50 AM, I have lost my patience and grab my baby and make my way to the store. As I enter the store a snot-nosed employee says "here's your food dude" at which I reply "F U" and that "I am never coming back." I will never give these people a dime of my business and all businesses I associate with will never use them for catering again. It wasnt just one employee(which I could forgive the restaurant for) but at least 5 different employees and people I talked to on the phone that showed they dont care about their customers. I threw the food away because I was worried...
Read moreThis location in north Phoenix is ok. I have to be honest and say that the location on Mohave is better food-wise. The prices are cheaper as well. The North Phoenix location restaurant is okay it has a great open space if you decide to dine in. Their beef tacos are great and are my go-to if I decide to eat at the location.
Update
I have been coming back to this establishment as it is conveniently located. However, my last visit to this establishment and what happened has made me come to the decision that I will not be patronizing this location. In my last encounter, I went in and ordered my food and waited patiently. I noticed that there were several customers who came in after me that ordered and were getting the orders before me, the first couple of customers who got their food before me, I didn't make a big deal, however, about 5 customers who ordered after me got their food before me I went up to the counter to inquire why other customers got their orders before me and I was given excuses and unsatisfactory explanations and then I was advised that they ran out of food. I asked for my money and left the establishment. The service that I received still was not sitting right with me so I called the restaurant after I left and asked to speak to the manager. I expressed my grievance to the manager, and he tried to remedy the situation, by offering me a free order. I appreciate him doing so but it is not good enough for me to continue to patronize this location....
