For me use to be a great place back in the day. This new place gets too busy and the 2 on staff including CJ himself get overwhelmed, you can see that. So Friday fish fry? Fish okay, he needs to get better French Fry's. I say French frys because the shoestring ones are nasty. They're hard when you get them. No wonder most of the fries are wasted on dirty plates. Small, neighborhood hole-in-the-wall. Enough space for the regulars, pool table, great juke box, decent prices, and good-looking bar host. What a neighborhood bar should be - unpretentious, with friendly service, and reasonably priced food and drink. In CJ Talley’s case, both the food and drink are probably underpriced, which may partly account for the locals’ wholehearted embrace of the place. $7.50 for Friday fish and chips and one can get a burger/sandwich and fries for $6.50!
