I decided to order my usual at Dons last night it was just a hectic night and I needed something quick and simple for my 3 boys. I put my order in at approximately 6:45 and the young lady told me that it would be 40 minutes before my food would be delivered which was okay for Thursday night. An hour went by and I called to ask if the driver might be lost because it has happened before. A gentleman was on the line with a very strong accent and informed me that the driver had not even left, and he would be leaving in 10 minutes. I then proceeded to ask him why was it taking so long and why wasn't I contacted that would it would be over an hour he proceeded to say (very rudely) we're just busy he'll be leaving in 10 minutes and tried to hang up the phone. I told him that was not acceptable and I wanted to cancel my order he asked me to hold on which I did for about 5 minutes and he got back on the phone and told me my order had been cancelled. Mine too after all of this time I still did not get an apology. I hung up the phone I pulled up my bank account to make sure that my card was not charged and there it showed that they had charged my card $33.17 for an order that I was not going to be getting I had to call the store back the same gentleman answered the phone he was not apologetic he was not concerned that I was upset he just kept saying he was busy. When I asked for the manager he said he was the manager when I asked him his name I could not understand what his name was when he told me we had a language barrier so I then asked him to spell his name for me he proceeded to tell me he did not know how to spell his name so not only did they charge my card $33.17 for an order that I was not going to receive he would not give me his information I contacted my husband who was in Sedona Arizona working and he called The Establishment and made sure that they put the money back on my card. It's a shame that after all the money that I have been spending at this establishment that they would treat a loyal customer in this manner. I will never order at this place again they have lost all of my business and I will never refer them to anybody...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonās is the kind of pizza shop that every neighborhood needs. Itās decently fast, its quality, and you know itās gonna be the same guy slinging sauces and placing pepperonis.
For my very first visit to Donās, I just had to get the New York Supreme. Thereās something special about the sauce, amigos. If itās not house-made sauce, Iād be shocked; itās really good stuff. And combined with a thoughtful array of fresh vegetables and meats, itās my favorite supreme pizza Iāve had anywhere.
Today wouldāve been perfect if the crust had a little more support underneath. The edge of the crust was perfect, but the bottom of the pie was just a little soft. Iām not from New York, but Iāve seen enough Dave Portnoy one bite pizza reviews to know that a little undercarriage is important, and especially on that first bite.
Iāll be back, for sure. I recently moved to the neighborhood and Iām grateful I tried Donās Pizza today; just hoping next time the base...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a half cheese/ half pepperoni yesterday and was the last order of the night having picked it up at 9:45pm. They immediately started closing as we were walking out. I got home and the order was incorrect even though they repeated it back when i placed it. I've never had any issues with any orders in the past, in fact I prefer their pizza to others around the valley. Since they were closed I called the following day (today). The guy who answered said I should have called last night and asked me what I'd like him to do about it. I kindly asked if they would discount my next pizza as i order cheese for my son, he said no and that I was free to take my business elsewhere. As someone who orders sometimes twice a week from your establishment I would expect a little more customer service when you guys make a mistake in order to fix your wrong doing.. what a good way to lose your valued customer base. Sincerely, No...
