I come to this Dunkin Donuts regularly and today I went there around 9:45 am to order the new Sabrina Carpenter coffee. When I got there there was nothing on the menu about the new menu item so I asked "do you guys have the Sabrina Carpenter drink?" The guy who was working the drive thru sighed and was groaning on the mic, he said that they had it and I said I wanted it in a medium. There was a long pause in his end and then he asked if I wanted it iced or hot which I replied iced, then there was another long pause and then I said "that'll be it" which I was expecting him to ask me it at least be communicating with me. When I got to the window I paid and it was a girl who helped me. Then when my coffee was ready the guy who I assume I spoke to when I ordered says "are you the one who ordered the Sabrina Carpenter drink?" To which I replied yes, then he just laughs in my face and hands me my coffee. He didn't say have a nice day or anything. All he said was "are you the one who ordered the Sabrina Carpenter drink?" I'm not sure what his name is but he had brownish red hair. He was completely rude and incredibly unprofessional. Also the drink didn't have any brown sugar syrup. The girl that works there is always super nice and fast. Everyone else that works there are very unfriendly and EXTREMELY SLOW. I have been stuck in that drive thru for 30 minutes but only 2 cars in front of me. I won't be going here anymore because of how I was treated for simply ordering something that was on the menu. Read moreI really dont know what it is about west coast Dunkins. They all are just so much more poorly run than the East. The second someone says an order it should start cooking. In the east there is zero waiting for food at the windowbeyond maybe 20 seconds whether the line is long or empty. In Arizona, whether the line is long or empty, expect to wait at least a full minute and usuallt longer. As I write this I have been told to pull up ahead of the window to wait for one sandwich. Still waiting and it has been 5 minutes. Its my own fault though because this is a regular thing at every dunkin I have been to in AZ and I know that. Just go somewhere else lol itll either be cold, youll wait forever, have to repeat yourself 5 times in drive thru, etc.
If you do decide to go and they ask you to pull up ahead of the drive thru window to wait for your food, I suggest refusing to do so. Lmao. Focus more on making and giving me the food and less on moving my car, the one car in your line.
Edit: LOL and its the wrong food great. Wasted 10 minutes. WHY are you asking a customer to pull forward when the line is 100% empty. Own your actions. If it took you this long, you should let your timer run that long. “Pulling up” to wait for food isnt a real thing, so theres no designated spot. This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced! Nov 4th between 8:30-9:00am after being trapped in the drive-thru line for at least 30 minutes for just a simple large iced coffee with oat milk, the gal was very cold, rude and made things very complicated asking me how many pumps and then telling me it's $4 just for the oatmilk now... etc etc! After going back and forth and me frustrated and confused why it needs to be this complicated after as long as I waited... I then asked her to just give me the price what it would be together for a coffee with whatever amount oatmilk "they usually put in." And instead she sarcastically and rudely came outside and made a big scene with other people in drive-thru pointing at the menu where I can see the prices! Unbelievable!
