Federico's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

We have given this restaurant 3 chances to be decent and they have utterly failed every single time.

My husband is allergic to dairy. Not just a little allergy, either. We're talking death's door type allergy. He also despises guacamole. He stopped for a chicken chimi and told them, "No cheese, sour cream, or guac. Just red sauce." He got it home and it had cheese, sour cream, and guac on it. We gave it to the neighbor.

He went back that same night to get another one. They put cheese on it. Good thing he checked it before he left. He made them remake it and caught them right as they were going to put sour cream and guac on it. What part of NO CHEESE, NO SOUR CREAM, AND NO GUAC is so hard to understand?

Tonight, he stopped by there again. Once again, "Just red sauce. No cheese, no sour cream, no guac. Just red sauce." Guess what? He got home and it has sour cream and guac on it. (I took a pic this time) Guess the neighbor is getting another chimi. sigh

I didn't make dinner because I knew my husband was stopping for something on his way home from work. Now I have a hungry, pissed off husband - and RIGHTFULLY SO!!!

When he called them to complain about the fact they'd messed up his order, Julio told him he needed to be more specific when he placed his order. When my husband asked him, "How much more specific than just red sauce do I need to be?" Julio hung up on him. Great customer service there...NOT.

This place SUCKS. We won't be wasting any more money there. My heartfelt suggestion is that you don't either. They obviously care NOTHING for...

The 2 younger gentlemen who work there at the drive thru are rude and lazy. I don't know their names but there's 2 of them. The rest of the staff, especially this semi older woman are nice. She's the only one I tip because it's usually those rude unprofessional men I'm dealing with. The reason I wrote this review and will be speaking to the manager is because of the incident that just happened. I called to place an order. The person who answered said 5 minutes. It's a mile walk so it takes me about 13 minutes. I call to let them know I'm there they said it'll be a moment. They must've been in the back because no one was in the kitchen. I wait there for 30 minutes. I call again and they hang up on me. So I leave wàsting my time completely. I will be contacting the management there tomorrow and unless swift action istis they lost a customer. There's plenty other places to buy...

Went through the drive-thru. Had my order taken in less than 45 seconds probably-by the time I reached the speaker and had been greeted. Ordered a chicken burrito enchilada style with red sauce. The first time I have ever got food from here or any federico's to be clear-I wasn't disappointed. Actually one of the better enchilada style burritos I've ever had because the tortilla wasn't mushy by the time I ate the burrito meaning that the tortillas are fresh or made in house. That's authentic Mexican which is what I live for. The Cashier/Drive-Thru employee was super upbeat appearing resilient despite the drive-thru being packed up on arrival and just kept piling up behind after our order was taken. He never missed a beat. He was just on top of it and smiling the entire time. Just genuinely a good experience overall here. 10 out of 10 would come back...
