This is a new review of a restaurant that I'm drop their stars from 4 to 1. I'm sorry but whatever happened to the customer is always right? Not sit and argue while making rude comments and giving dirty looks. I'm all about promoting local small businesses here downtown. It's always nice to successful restaurant's in the area that's why I enjoy being part of this google guide community. Pretty simple I ordered a carne asada burrito with no onions mind you I was walking from the nightclub up the street going home. So when I get home it's full of onions. (pico de gallo) so I call and they told me to bring it back tomorrow with the receipt so I did. As soon as the cashier sees me put the bag on the on the counter. I get a look of irritation from the cashier. I can't believe a business owner would sit there and argue with a customer who clearly has money to spend and frequently stop in for occasionally meal. It actually wasn't the owner it was just a cashier who is she told me wasn't able to do anything other because she had to ask her boss. Who was not there of course. This cashier had absolutely no customer service skills or class. I believe the word is ratchet. Yes that describes her well. Now I'm a larger person and I know damn well standing at a counter arguing over food it's not a good look! So you have to get me pretty angry to go there. This is not the first time that's it happens at this restaurantI believe it's about the third time. I'm tired of always just brushing it off, the cashier told me that if that ever happened to her even one time at a restaurant that she would never go back. Come on I'm a realist I know sometimes s* happens and you get a order wrong or something but it's what you do after that shows what kind of business you're trying to run but today this cashier obviously failed. She treated me as I had been plotting to pull the great burrito heist of the century. Girl please... I ain't got time for that! Arguing over food is not a good look! Especially if ur a plus size Linda Evangelista supermodel of the world such as myself. Itās disheartening to unwrap a burrito and find that it is not only smaller in size but also lacking in the robust filling that used to define Filibertoās.
This change feels like a betrayal to loyal customers who have come to rely on Filibertoās for their hearty meals. While we understand that businesses must make adjustments, shrinking portions without a corresponding decrease in price feels unfair. Itās the kind of cost-cutting measure that leaves a bad taste in the mouthāliterally and figuratively.
We urge Filibertoās management to reconsider this strategy. Return to the generous portions that made your burritos a staple in the community. It took way longer than normal, and I should have checked my order, but I didn't. When I got home (3 miles away) I discovered my order was wrong and I had been charged for extras I did not receive. My girlfriend called and was told to come back and the order would be remade. We returned to the restaurant and were told the person on the phone told us wrong and they needed to return the food so they could add the missing items. We told them we didn't bring the wrong order. They told us to retrieve the order and they would add the missing items to the order. We told them that was ridiculous, the food had already been sitting around and there was no point in adding items to a cold meal. Further, my girlfriend had to work in the morning and it was now 2am and we weren't going to make another trip home and return again. Our plea fell on deaf ears, they did not appear to care. We told them to forget it and left without any replacement. WORST customer...
