Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

Went through the night of 12/04/2020. We ordered our food and total came up to 29 and change.

I got home and noticed my bank shows they ran it for $35.04. So, I call back and the gal would rather enter into a debate with me on how she has proof that she charged the right amount and that I could come in tomorrow to verify.

She went on to say that she has been accused of this a few times already in the past. Coincidence? Perhaps not. She tried to tell me that maybe my bank was charging me for my transaction.

I have a feeling they are either purposely entering wrong amounts or tipping themselves.

Anyhow, apparently the manager will be in, in the morning and I should call then. Ridiculous. I will give them the opportunity to fix it before disputing with Mastercard and them being out the entire money plus a charge back fee.

I am only giving some starts because that food wasn't bad at all, though the salsas were over tomato-ey and bit...

The staff is friendly! The daily food specials are a great deal. 1 Ala cart for $1.40 and it fills me up! I get extra so I can have it twice a week. Mondays is Taquitos Day . Tuesday is Taco Day, your choice of meat or just Vegetarian. Wensday is Bean Burrito Day. Thursday is Tostada Day and Friday is Quesadilla Day. On Saturday and Sunday they don't have a special deal of the day. I know bummer! But 5 days out of the week is a great special for the $1.40 plus tax. I go to the one on 18th Ave and Glendale. It is busy, but I can tell you how great is the food. So now and then it may takes you a bit to get to the window. But it is worth the very short wait! They don't claim to be a fast food restaurant, but they can run just as fast with an average fast food restaurant but faster, and much better quality! For just change, you really get your money 💵 worth of tasty...

My taco had so much lettuce in it I swear I was eating a lettuce only taco ... Where is the meat ? and it was cooked way too hard I don't know if they cooked it right on the spot or if it was left out it was gross then I ordered carne asada fries and they had tomatoes in them I didn't ask for them. It was my first time seeing tomatoes in the fries I always order these. I've came to this location maybe three times now . First time great second time I thought maybe they might be having a bad night . But when I come back a third when I'm really craving it was horrible . They don't have a phone number to contact them either and I wasn't driving all the way back over there pregnant late at night .sucks I didn't have my food the way that I wanted it especially me...
