Clean facility and fresh food. Plus the staff was very friendly, smiling, and polite. Why they even said "Thank you. Please come again." The pricing on the menu can be high but for the quality of the food it is a good value if you buy the foot long only. Adding chips and a soda is not making a value meal except being pennies cheaper than if bought separately. The soda is over priced to begin with and selection very limited. The same goes with the chip selection lately. Once upon a time the Subway had a vast selection of chips and flavors to select from but that is gone. Replaced with 3 flavors and 1 or two Harvest Fiber Squares that can break a tooth. The soft drink selection has had the same flavors since Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble ordered their lunch back in the day. Adding a soup of the day to the menu and the cookie option on value meals as an option instead of chips does help break the monotony. Having a staff that is all smiles and cheerful is fantastic but the aversion to onion is amazing. I have to order 'lots of red onion' and 'more red onion' and 'more onion' every time I order. Would also be a huge upgrade to service speed if your toaster could toast 2 at a time one on top of the other. Or 2 separate units for the lunch and dinner rush. My toasted sandwich ends up cold by the time they begin putting the toppings on the cheese. Vegetarian pricing would also be appreciated as a footlong seems to cost as much as a Roast Beef (add a 2 oz cup of au jus). Also the clerk with the onky bathroom key shouldn't be allowed a smoke break with the key in her possession. I know being picky but I can point out improvements and changes that would be nice change because I have the room. There isn't anything bad to say about the cleanliness, professional attitude, and good hearty healthy food. It is a joy to walk in the store knowing I am going to be treated well and well fed...
Read moreI am a secret shopper. I came in today and was greeted by a nice young lady named Paige, while she was assisting another customer. I was reviewing the menu when another young lady said she could assist me. I kindly asked her if she could wait one moment while I review the menu. She walked away and waited. When I was ready, she then approached me with a sarcastic energy and asked was I ready now? I said to her yes. As I was expressing my order to her, she gave me this rolling of the eyes, not wanting to take my order attitude. I then politely asked her if she was ok? She then responded with a nasty tone and attitude “yes I’m ok, why are you asking me if I’m ok?” I then responded and said your energy seems off and rude. She then replied and said “nothing is wrong with my energy” in a very nasty sarcastic tone. I then politely told her that she doesn’t have to make my food, I’ll wait for the other young lady (Paige). She then seemed shocked that I rejected her preparing my food, and said “really? You have a great day”. Who wants someone with rude foul energy preparing their food?… Not me. Paige then came, with great energy and customer service to prepare my food. As I was leaving the other young lady said very nasty and sarcastically “ you have a wonderful day”. I told her you as well, and I will be writing a review. To that nasty young lady, I REBUKE you and return to you all of your nasty sarcastic energy hundred trillion fold, in I Am that I Am. To Paige, keep up the...
Read moreSo I usually love this place, I mean its subway. You're creating what you want in a deli sandwich, not much to mess up. Today took about half an hour. Again, trying not to fault. Sometimes it just takes awhile, you can only push a toaster so fast. But then again, I had a new person working. Again, trying not to fault her, everyone has to start somewhere, right? That was until while checking out my 2 sandwiches, my total went from 15 dollars, to 22, because she gave herself a 6 dollar and some change tip. I was sitting and trying to do math, she bypassed the tip page, and while I put my card against the machine the total showed the new number. I'm all for tipping, I was going to. But to give herself that much without asking, without seeing what I was going to do.. a lot of respect lost after I was the first person in the store, and four people left before me.. Seriously...
