Hong Kong Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Phoenix

Food was delicious, and we had the place to ourselves, which was nice. We really enjoyed stopping by here on our way home from up north, BUT we do feel like we were overcharged. We stopped by during lunch time, and ordered dishes from the lunch menu, but a couple of the entrees we were charged as dinner. I asked the server if they had a side of noodles for my child, and then saw after the fact that the side was $8, which is basically the price of a lunch combo. The server should have had informed us of this first, and also double checked if we wanted all the entrees lunch, before just charging us for some of them as dinner prices. She said that people pointed to the pictures or the item in the dinner section, but we were there during lunch time, at least just ask to make sure! There were a couple other charges too, but not sure if our friends ordered them or not, but maybe they did. Also, the chicken fried rice had very little chicken in it, if it was chicken, was very soft almost like eggs. Anyway, good food but just make sure you read the menu and communicate exactly what you want, and take a look at your your receipt before leaving. Hope they can improve on these things, they said next time they will check with people when taking the orders. Would love to see...

I have been coming to this place for quite a few years.Theyre food is good ,fresh ,and fast.I mostly speak of the orange chicken I usually eat there not any of the other food items.The only thing is that the front lady that runs the place is quite rude.She is impatient when you order and doesn't greet you at all. I was there with another person and I started ordering.I only said about one meal and she said "That's it" and started taking off. I said I have another oder.She ignored the fact that there are two people.I asked about which food I should get and she got quite impatient.I pointed to a food item on the menu to ask about it and she said that's it ( that is what I want) .I only wanted to know what it was in that food..and she basicly ordered that for me without me making a sure confirmation.I dont like speaking badly of her,but she needs to treat her customers with friendliness and respect.I dont want people not coming in just because of bad customer service.I meet the owner a few years ago and asked me if I wanted to work there.He is really nice.I just hope her...

Called in an order for the family knowing the woman there doesn't speak kindly. I'm not sure if there's a language barrier where kindness is lost in translation but she is very rude. The pen being thrown at us on the counter to sign the receipt was flawless. It takes practice being like that. The food is mediocre but its Chinese food, we love ordering it in. The most disappointing thing was the crab puffs. $6 for 8 of them and really lacking. We ended up throwing away 3 orders of them. Fried until borderline burned and the cream cheese filling was the worst part. I think they used the smallest spoon available to portion the filling. My wife loves these, they're basically her meal and we get them at every restaurant that sells them. We know what a real crab puff looks like.
