Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Phoenix

I really hate to write this review but this is the third issue I’ve had with this location that just needs to be displayed so other people can understand what this location does to its customers. So tonight me and my girlfriend went to this location a little before 8 PM - they close at 9 PM - and the chairs were stacked up and they said if we wanted to eat there then we had to eat outside, the reason this is a problem is because we live 15 minutes away and with the juices on her cold sub and the hot sub I ordered, it just isn’t as good once we get home. It’s in the 50s outside and it’s not pleasant. To add to the inconvenience of the chairs being stacked they said it was to clean, well you close in an hour and you can clean when customers leave. So circle back like 2 weeks we arrived around 830 PM and the workers huffed and puffed at us because they had already cleaned the blades to cut the meat cheese with, but the workers were relatively young and seemed to not really care. And a few weeks before they happened, I stopped by during the morning, there was 2 people working and one of the workers wasn’t doing anything but complaining about a female worker who no-call no-showed, I had to leave because they never even acknowledged me as they were preparing multiple sandwiches for what appeared to be a catering order. This location is decent when it comes to food but the people just seem to not care.

We placed an online order. when I arrived at the location the one and only other customer in the store was called up to pay for his to go order. The amount caught him by surprise. He questioned the order and was told twice this is what you ordered, Man I am telling you this is what you ordered a #7 and a #13. He said no I ordered just a #13. The customer was a real gentleman and finally said fine I guess I will just have to have one for lunch tomorrow. Now as for my online order they said it's not ready because we made it to early and just threw it out. REALLY? We will make it now. Very dissatisfied with our experience. If you are in that area head to CAPPRIOTTI's They are friendly, give you what you order, far superior quality product and if you order online your order will be hot, ready to go and it will be correct. If you want a great steak and Cheese go to Forefathers over on Priest Drive in Tempe. Just do not go here. Called to the store to speak to them but they just wanted to argue about how they did not remember who I was and that they had made many sandwiches. Poor short term memory.....less than an hour. They won't be making any...

Well, I got a good one for ya! I was at the 4605 E. Chandler blvd., Phoenix Az location (Saturday, March 22 2025 @ 7:40 pm), and the (male) who was taking the order's argued vehemently with me about the types of bread he would not give me! I wanted white bread, and he refused. Making every excuse about how they didn't make enough for the rest of the night orders. I was trying to understand, so I made two wheat, but my kid is autistic and I needed one of them white. He flat out refused, I said look don't argue with me if you don't have enough white bread that is not my problem, but I will get two sandwiches in wheat. He said NO! The only thing that saved him was the three young women who were so sweet. The one said it is ok to give white bread. Later, I explained to her about my autistic kid, and she said she understood and was so nice. I tipped well because I don't believe everyone else (three ladies) should suffer due to ONE rotten apple...
