This place is huge with a lot of food choices, but overall the food is pretty average for a Chinese buffet. The building looks real fancy but the food pretty average. Although a lot of the stuff did taste good, nothing really stood out. The day we went it was extremely busy, they were lines at the food stations. I did not see them practicing CDC guidelines as far as disinfecting each table after someone left, so bring your own sanitizer if you want that done. Since there's so many people in there the food turn around is pretty quick so most of the items in the food stations were freshly cooked. The building being so pretty really made me want to like this buffet more, but like I said it is average at best. There definitely buffets in this same price range in town that do offer higher quality food. Although the food wasn't bad, nothing about my experience would make me want to come back to this place. And actually felt like they were hurting customers around by cattle because they were so busy. Staff did not care that people were shoulder to shoulder at the food stations. They do not have a salad section, unless you consider lettuce in just a few vegetables salad.

If you enjoy Chinese buffets I'm guessing Lin's Grand buffet might be the place to go. It's definitely the biggest Chinese buffet in the Phoenix area that I know of. If American Chinese buffets are your sort of jam, then this is the place for you to be. Unfortunately this type of establishment might not be for everyone. So why the three stars instead of either four or five? Well there's a few reasons but I'll try to keep it short. First of all on one of the days I was here they seem to be having an issue with one of the warming tables leaking water everywhere. I know the staff is busy it took him quite a bit of time before anyone bothered to start cleaning up the water. Probably my biggest gripe is more with me, not particularly caring for American Chinese food or buffets, then with the restaurant. But therein lies the big prong, this is American Chinese food. Almost every other Chinese buffet restaurant is going to taste the exact same as this place. There's no standout dish that drives you to come here and try the food. It's only purpose is to allow you the opportunity to gorge yourself food.

Buffets can be spotty, especially around 3pm, the "dead time". But this visit was nothing short of excellent. Chicken, is my favorite dish, and I sampled all that Lins had to offer. Sesame, Orange, Gen. Tso's, Kung Pao, Jalapeño, all were fantastic. Fresh, not overcooked and rubbery. I hit the beef and broccoli, primarily for the broccoli. The seasoning and sauce adds a flavor I can't seem to get enough of. Stir fry veggies are to die for. The rice and noodle offerings were good too. One of the faults of Lins is that their food descriptions are missing or inaccurate. If you're familiar with Asian buffets, it's not a big deal. But if your not, some chicken dishes look like fish & would be a problem if didn't like one or the other. I enjoyed my experience here. Hope you will too.

We chose this place because number 1 buffet in Avondale had a ridiculous wait time. I always assume this place would be exactly what I have experience and was not disappointed. Upon coming in it’s very bright not the usual low key ambience that you expect from buffet settings. You are billed before sitting down which is expected this is the hood. Food was very mediocre, dried chicken(some not all), desert cakes semi dry but not horrible. Food was edible but not as tasteful or much of a selection as other buffets but I suppose that is expected from the size of the establishment. There is a dome ceiling so acoustic are horrid! Lots of children running around and the high pitch that usually is made by spoiled loud children is definitely a sharp stab to the ears. This places did not feel like a dinning experience but more like animals crammed into a small room to eat. Loud and people pushing each other to grab food … it was definitely an experience to remember and not to repeat. Ooo and before I sign off they did have a grill station that had steak. That was definitely the best part of our night which we found towards the end of our meal. We won’t be coming back , we just have experience a higher quality dinning experience with other buffets and this was not for us but I will say they are definitely catering to the right crowd that’s for sure! Our server was great staff was friendly. Tipping bring cash- we weren’t given an option to tip when we were charged for our entrance fee. If anyone gives reviews about attitude from staff or servers I don’t blame them that places was like dinning...

I went here thinking that the food and the sushi were going to be delicious bc of the pictures… Well i figured out real quick that it was not even in the slightest of what thought at all! The building is huge, so my first thought was big buffet, right? I was very wrong, the buffet was tiny and the food options were scary. I started off by getting the sushi because that is one thing that caught my attention when picking where we were eating… First off the lady making the sushi looked like she was very unhappy, she would give us dirty looks when getting the sushi, and the sushi was very plain and not very tasteful. Next i moved on to the buffet and there were only 5 things that looked a little appetizing. I got the fried rice which kind of shocked me because it tasted like plain white rice, both of their egg rolls ( the vegetable egg roll was the best tasting one but it was watery and mushy on the inside), i got their orange and sesame chicken and the sesame was not bad but the orange chicken had a funky taste to it. I also tried their orange noodles with veggies and it almost didn't have any taste, then i went on to dessert… i tried all of their little square cakes and they were all really dry, i tried their strawberry covered bananas and they were warm, mushy, and some how didn't really have a banana taste, their jell-o tasted like chemicals, and their ice cream was pretty much liquid and you would think at lunch time all of those things would be the best but guess not… Will not be wasting my...

I was truley hoping for better based on the reviews. I went on a Saturday evening around 8:30pm figuring the rush would be winding down..NOT.

  1. It was so loud in the place between the screaming kids and the music that I couldn't hear the cashier tell me who much it was.

  2. I'm sorry but loud Mexican music in a Chinese restaurant just doesn't mix.

  3. The sushi selection was extremely limited, the rice was dry which tells me it had been there a while and it was lacking in flavor and presentation. I understand that it's a buffet but it could have been much better. So if you know what good sushi is don't waist your time here.

  4. I made a hibachi plate and the guy burned it because he wasn't paying attention and mine was the only one on the grill at the time.

  5. 95% of what was on the buffet was unmarked as to what it was and barley luke warm.

  6. I went through my entire meal with a server walking passed me continually and not once did they ask if I wanted more water. Once it had gotten my ice cream for desert he finally asked me if I wanted more water. I told him it would have been nice to have been asked while I was still eating my dinner but not to bother now as I was finished.

  7. I give it one star because at least the ice...
