The experience we had today was absoultely horrible and unacceptable. We were celebrating a birthday and it was completely ruined by the sevice we received. We arrived at 330pm a party of 10 and were given a wait time of 45 minutes. The restaurant was not busy by any means. We waited by the bar. Half of our party was standing. The 45 mins came and went. My sister n law went to check the status and was advised the table was ready but we were waiting on a server. 15 more minutes go by and we are tired of standing. My sister n law goes back and is advised we are still waiting on someone to seat us. She advises them we are tired of standing and we can seat ourselves to spead up the process. After waiting so long we already knew what we wanted. Our complete order was placed by 520pm. Everything was going okay the appetizers came out quickly the bread was fresh but then everything just stopped. We waited an hour and no food had came out. We asked for an update and were told the kitchen was very behind. After a few more minutes we asked again. The server said it was being plated and it would be another 5-6 minutes. As a courtesy we waited 10 mins then asked for another status. They didn't know what to tell us at this point. I'm not even sure our food was made. After waiting more than an hour for the food we made the decision to leave. Our party was extremely hungry, the kids were irritated and we have no food after being there for 3 hours in total. We asked to speak to the manager and let him know we wanted to pay for the drinks and appetizers we had and we were leaving since the food was not ready. He only had us pay for the beers we had and apologized. We left the restaurant at 645pm empty handed and disappointed at the experience we had. My sister n laws birthday dinner was ruined and it was too late to try and go anywhere else. We will never be returning to this establishment and I would also advise others to stay clear of...
Read moreI have to admit that my experience at this specific longhorn was way below their standards. Once I was seated, in the bar area, I had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to offer me a drink. Mind you the restaurant was not that busy. The one thing that was startling was that I was thinking about sitting at the bar itself, but there was trash all over the bar from previous diners that had not been cleaned up. There was a couple sitting at one end of the diner and there were two dirty spots on either side of them. Mind you when I arrived I was told if I set a normal seating as a party of one, I would have to wait about 20 minutes for them to clean up available tables. There were at least 20 tables that were clean and suitable. I had a small glass of wine which I nursed through the meal, because I had asked for a Coke to accompany the meal when it was finally served and I had to wait for another 20 minutes for that to come. The food was so memorable that I could not tell you what I ate except that it was a steak and potatoes. Supposedly this was their best steak, a 6 oz serving. It was actually tough! I did order a salad, just a regular salad and had them add onions. I requested for the onions to be chopped. Simple request. Take a knife whack whack whack all chopped up. I was told that they don't do that, they only serve sliced onions. Oh getting back to the cleanliness of the place. I was there for approximately an hour and a half and it wasn't until about maybe 20 minutes before I left that they finally started cleaning up the places. This was totally an unsatisfactory experience and I will not be visiting this Longhorn anytime soon. A waste of $45.
Did I bring it to the attention of the management? No because I thought it would be a waste of time because I saw the manager, the only one there that was not wearing a uniform, but had a name tag, Make a few appearances and yet he mentioned nothing about getting the...
Read moreUpdate So we went in on a Monday night not expecting it to be busy but there was a 30min wait, not too bad so we waited. Our waitress seemed to be going through something, she seemed sad/irritated and wasn't very attentive. My wife's salad came out drenched in dressing and both our steaks came out overcooked AGAIN and my mash potatoes were cold. At this point we were over it. I will not be returning to this LongHorn Steakhouse again.
This is the review from my first experience Went in for a late dinner and as to be expected on a Friday night, it was a bit busy. We were told it would be about a 15-20min wait however that was the fastest 15mins of my life as we were told our table was ready with in 3mins 😆. It took a little while for the server to make it over to the table so by time she made it over and apologized we were ready to order. We ordered our appetizers, salads, and meals at the sametime. I nervously ordered a medium ribeye which came out out over cooked but I'll get back to that. When our salads came out we told the server who brought them to the table that we didn't have any silverware and she looked at our server, who was busy with another table, and told her to get us some. She then looked at us and said "she'll bring you some when she gets a chance." Our server did get us silverware rather quickly but I was irritated by the coworkers lack of helpfulness. When our meals came out and I cut into my steak, one of the managers noticed my displeasure with my meal and came over and right away to correct it. My recooked steak came out cooked at the right temp and also tasted so much better, it was like it was seasoned better. The manager let us keep the over cooked steak to take home to the dog and also gave a discount for our troubles. All in all the meal and dinning experience were pretty good after...
