As my first time trying Los Taquitos, I feel very comfortable providing a 5 star review. I have dined all through Mexico, cook the cuisine myself at home, and have tried all the taco places in Phoenix. Los Taquitos is delicious! The atmosphere is energetic with Latin/Reggaeton playing in the background as you enjoy spacious seating in the open dinning area. I tasted the carne asada tacos, with rice and beans at a fair pice of $7.25. While the size of the tacos may be smaller than other places, the amount of meat is generous and seasoned perfectly. The meat is tender and the tortillas are not chewy, but perfect in texture. I also sampled the fish taco, which I chose to have on a corn tortilla. The fish taco was a grilled Tilapia, with no sauce, but only cabbage and a pico mix. The taste of the fish was perfect, with no over seasoning or any fish taste at all. The tortilla was as well right on par with texture, and the corn perfectly pairing with the fish. In addition, the rice and beans tasted homemade with no hint of greasy texture at all. The food here is amazing, and the price very fair for the portion and quality. As well, the staff is helpful, fast, and ensures repeat business with their performance. Please try this place if you have not yet, you will never go to another drive thru Mexican food place again, as the staff is just as fast, with better quality. Top notch, keep up the great work...
Read moreI ordered from Los Taquitos on Postmates. We have been customers there for 10 years. This was our first time using the delivery service, so I called the restaurant in advance to ask how to make sure salsa and limes were included with our order because their salsa is what makes the meal. They said to put it in the notes, and they would make sure it was included. I added the salsa amount to each item on the order as directed. The food was delivered with NO salsa or limes at all — zero. I called the restaurant to complain and they said they were busy and forgot. They refused a refund saying salsa was free so therefore if it doesn’t arrive, that’s just too bad. I am shocked by the poor customer service.
When I went into the restaurant in July, the cook was coughing and was wearing no mask, so I paid for my food and left, then took my food straight to the dumpster because I didn’t want to take a chance that he had COVID. I figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt — maybe they didn’t realize he was sick and coughing into the food. I called to let the manager know. I never got a call back. Still, I gave them a second chance. After this episode, I’m done. This restaurant has really gone downhill and we will not be returning. There are tons of places for great street tacos in Phoenix. No need to go to a restaurant with such bad...
Read moreBeyond impressed with the customer service at this location very sweet young lady working the cash register had an extremely rude customer come in who I believe is Jordan below! I had already been there, eating my lunch, and it was a different lady on shift up until two minutes before that guy had walked in when she took over the cash register he walked up demanding to know what he had ordered and she apologized that she had just clocked in and wasn’t there to see the order herself but showed him the reciept in the bag to try and see what was ordered for him per his request and he continued to bash this poor girl while telling her she shouldn’t work there because of her race. Extremely sad but even with the difficult customer I watched her keep a smile on her face for the next customer and do what she could to fix the issues had by the previous customer. It is sad to see that rude man came to Google to leave a review calling the poor lady racist when she never did anything but try to help while he bashed her for her race. I will absolutely be coming back for the customer...
