Manhattan pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

I decided to try this place because I was craving some New York style of pizza with wings. I was a bit surprised by the pricing it was much higher than other locations especially their specials. I’m also used to a large being a 16 inch their extra large is a 16 inch. They have a special that includes a 2 liter soda except if you decide to dine in you can not get that 2 liter. You also do not get drinks to compensate you just lose out on the Soda. When we asked about that they seemed to get upset and explain the menu says no so you don’t get. We decided to take it home to not lose out. Also their menu on the wall is all same text and size only one menu item stands out where they have a large sign stating extra ranch is 40cents.

Once we get home the wings look a bit odd. It looks like they been watering down their buffalo sauce because it was so liquify that the sauce just fell off the wings and you had a giant pool of sauce in the pan but it wasn’t sticking to it. The wings were horrible not sure what sauce that is when you get hot wings you want to taste the hotness. Best way to describe it is like drinking a flat coke. The pizza was so difficult to chew I was tired before I was full I’m sitting waiting for my jaw to rest before I can grab another size. I guess if you’re a big person it’s better for you because it slows down your eating and you get tired before your full. So if you want to lose weight come try their extreme difficult to chew pizza. They might be representing Manhattan Kansas not New York. If this wasn’t Arizona where New Yorkers stay away from they would have burned it to the ground. I think circle k has a better New Yorker pizza...

Ordered pizza and BBQ wings. The pizza was good, but the BBQ wings were dry, hard, dry and burnt. I took a small bite of each one. Ceck out the picture. When I called the only thing they said is we never have any complaints. No one is perfect. I've had their wings before and they were good. He said I could bring them back, but I had my son pick up the food because I am not able to drive. Therefore, I'm not able to take them back. They should have given me a coupon or a discount on next order because they knew the wings were no good when they gave them to him. They knew those wings should have been thrown out, but they sold them instead. They were trash!!! I called back and asked for a coupon, but they said they don't do that. My son can't take it back because he's at work and I am disabled and can not take it back. Very poor customer service. I'll never order from here ever again. What kind of restaurant is this? Obviously they don't care about their customers. I am throwing the rest of pizza out. I will never trust a restaurant who sells wings that are hard, dry, and burnt. You can tell from the picture, so of course they knew it. If they do this whatelse...

First time here and last time here. I normally try to ignore negative reviews if the pictures look ok. I wish I listen to the negative reviews. First red flag place was empty for a reason. We ordered Pizza and Wings, not only was their biggest Pizza a 16" which is not normal should be 18" the Pizza was "VERY HARD" to chew. My jaw was in pain not kidding around. I dont know how the Health and Food Department havent done something about it. Just look at the other negative reviews with the same complaint about the Pizza being hard to chew. And the Buffalo Wing sauce taste was horrible it seemed to look like it was water down Buffalo sauce. This was the worst Pizza place Ive ever been too. I do not recommend this place. And the owner responded to my review about Pizza being 16" for a Large saying that we were alot of people and I was trying to feed them with only $20.00 bucks. It was only 3 of us, what a ridiculous excuse. He must be blind and cant take a negative review. I pass through this nasty Manhattan Pizza everyday to get to work and parking lot is still empty...
