I came in after seeing a Facebook ad. Having grown up in NY, I really know my pizza. This stuff is ... just okay. I can't quite explain it. It definitely isn't BAD, but it also definitely doesn't live up to the claims in the ads. I ordered a pepperoni and a plain cheese slice. The pizza came out VERY hot, and the edges were a little burnt - maybe the oven was set too high? Crust texture was mostly okay, cheese taste was a little off kind of also on the verge of being burnt. Pepperoni just gets tossed on top of a cheese slice, it isn't baked in - so when you fold the slice to eat it, it all falls into the crease of the fold. I will say the pizza isn't overly greasy, which is nice.
It might be better if you order a whole fresh pie, I'm not sure. I came in around 1pm, so still during lunchtime and what would have been left should have been pretty fresh. I understand this is normal and individual pizza slices get reheated out of a full pie but ... something about how they do it isn't quite right.
The restaurant was very warm inside, and after reading some prior reviews it looks like this has been the case for at least a year. That is why "atmosphere" gets a 3. Otherwise the place was clean and decor wasn't bad. If the AC was better this would be a 4.
Staff was friendly, at least. Pricing was reasonable.
I would be willing to try it again if I'm in the area, especially if I'm ordering a whole fresh pie, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way...
Read moreWas so excited to try this place and I am conflicted on the rating. We got the You Got a Carne Asada pizza and it was really good but the meat was light. I definitely enjoy a balance and don’t want it overloaded but I really only tasted the carne once in two slices so it was disappointing since it is not cheap prices. I can see it there but it wasn’t holding up against all the other flavors. The onion was heavy and very present. The sauces too but all delicious, just wish I could have got that carne coming through more. We spent $70 and did not feel it was worth it. My biggest issue is the employees act like you are bothering them by being there. There is NO customer service and barely any engagement period. I truly had to stop myself from matching their attitude. They brought our pizza out for dine in in a box which is a plus so we don’t have to ask for one with leftovers but we had to go ask for plates and wait in line for it. We had three boys with us dying to eat but needing that plate. Overall, get employees that want to be there and are at least friendly and engaging with the customers. Work out the meat ratio because my carne asada pizza shouldn’t be close to vegetarian and this could be a 5 star because the...

Your Very Defensive & Rude Rant speaks so loud as to the truth I don’t need to say anything else! How about an apology and wanting to make things right for a customer who has a poor experience? Attacking an honest review based on this person’s experience and calling them a liar is just putting the nail in the coffin! Never will I darken your door again nor rec to anyone!
First Time in—mgr(owner) sitting at bar not talking to anyone—thought he was a customer, until I saw him go back behind the register and then just stand there while there were a couple of guys waiting to be helped. Place is def Take Out—very dark, small, uninviting place. Bad odor inside, got a slice to go—took quite a while to get—smelled awful in car! Not appetizing at all. Meat looks gross, taste is ok. Crusts burned & hard on the edges. Looks like they just take an already made cheese pizza and throw some meat on top and heat it up. Not worth the time waiting or the taste. Took Charcoal Capsules as a precaution to possibility of getting sick from the meat. Sorry. Parking is small and tight. Can’t...
